The 180th Canfield Fair | An American Tradition The Canfield Fair returns in 2026 to celebrate its 180th year, proudly standing as one of the largest & oldest county fairs in the nation, founded in 1846. As America celebrates its 250th Anniversary, the Canfield Fair honors the values that built our country—community, hard work, and tradition. Each year, hundreds of thousands of guests pass through our gates for six unforgettable days of agriculture, entertainment, food, and family fun. Gates open daily at 8:00 a.m. Exhibit buildings open at 10:00 a.m. Rides begin at 11:00 a.m. Vendors and concessionaires are a vital part of this historic celebration.
