Welcome to the Driver Team! Thank you for applying to serve as a Driver for the Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo! We’re thrilled that you’re interested in taking on one of the most important and trusted roles at the event. As a Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting our talent, their agents, and VIP guests to hotels, the venue, airports, and any additional scheduled needs. You are often the first Expo representative they meet—so your professionalism, friendliness, and reliability help set the tone for their entire experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting people, staying organized, and being part of the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps the Expo running smoothly. A few key things to know as a new Driver: You must hold a valid driver's license, have a clean driving record, and be comfortable driving with passengers. You will need to submit your vehicle, insurance, and license information for approval before the event. Professionalism and confidentiality are essential—drivers may be present during private conversations, schedules, or personal moments. Punctuality matters. Call times and pick-ups must run on schedule. You’ll stay in close contact with the Driver Coordinator and dispatch team throughout the weekend—communication is everything. We’ll provide full instructions, routes, contacts, expectations, and a training session so you feel fully prepared before the event begins. Thank you again for your interest in joining the Transportation Team. We’re excited to work with you and can’t wait to have you on the road with us!
Deadline: Apr 03, 2026
Welcome to the Handler Team! Thank you for your interest in becoming a Handler for the Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo! This is one of the most exciting and interactive volunteer roles at the event, and we’re thrilled you’re considering joining the team. As a Handler, you’ll be working directly with talent—helping manage their lines, assisting with photo ops and autographs, communicating needs to staff, and ensuring they have a smooth, comfortable, and positive experience throughout the Expo. Handlers often serve as the bridge between talent, the public, and the event team—so professionalism, kindness, and confidence go a long way. A few key things to know as a new Handler: You may be assigned to a celebrity guest, voice actor, comic creator, or other talent—and each one has different expectations and comfort levels. You’ll help control the flow of fans, answer basic questions, and support the talent’s schedule and needs. Customer service, patience, and good communication are essential—this role is people-focused from start to finish. Respect and confidentiality are critical. Handlers must maintain professionalism at all times—no selfies, autographs, or personal fan behavior while on duty. Training will be provided so you know what to expect, what to say, and what to do in common scenarios. You don’t have to be an expert—just reliable, friendly, and willing to help. We’ll guide you every step of the way. Thank you again for applying to be part of the Handler Team. We can’t wait to see you in action and welcome you into one of the most memorable roles at the Expo!
