The Cherry Blossom Legacy Queen will be crowned to serve as an ambassador during the Cherry Blossom Festival, March 2026; as well as throughout the year at various appearances and events.
The Cherry Blossom Legacy Queen will be chosen from applicants who are 55 years or older. The Legacy Queen will be selected based on application, 3 letters of recommendation, an interview and community involvement.

Please note that all parking privileges and decisions regarding parking on the Douglass Theatre premises or property are managed exclusively by the Douglass Theatre.
There are several paid and free parking options available throughout downtown Macon. A convenient public parking garage is located next to the theatre on Mulberry Street Lane. This garage is:
Free after 8:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Free all day on Saturdays and Sundays
Please note: This garage is not owned, operated, or managed by the Douglass Theatre.

Parking in the alley next to the theatre is strictly prohibited.
The alley is designated for loading and unloading only. Unauthorized vehicles may be ticketed.
