About the event
Celebrate the holidays with this local Christmas Parade featuring a variety of floats, and a special appearance from Santa himself! Featuring over 100 float entries, music and great fun! This year you can enjoy the communities creativity as they display country themed floats!
2025 Parade Theme: A Country Christmas!
Where: Down Texas Blvd, from Pike St. to 6th St.
When: Santa Dash starts at 5PM / Parade starts at 6PM (if you are participating in the parade, staging begins at 3:30PM)

Parking instructions
Parking: Parking spaces are available down the parade route, note that parade staging takes place down Border and Pike and parade will begin at the corner of Pike and Texas and end at corner of Texas and 6th.
Recommended parking lots include:
-Weslaco City Hall
-LRGVDC
-Missouri Street
Health & safety
General Public Safety:
Follow all instructions from parade officials, volunteers, police, and emergency personnel.
Remain aware of your surroundings at all times.
Report any unsafe conditions immediately to a parade official.
No running within staging areas or along the parade route.
Emergency & Medical Support:
First aid and emergency personnel will be stationed along the route.
In an emergency:
Stop movement immediately.
Follow all responder instructions.
Participants should notify officials of any medical needs in advance.
Crowd Control & Spectator Safety:
Do not block driveways, fire lanes, or emergency access points.
Spectators should stay by curb lines.
Children should never approach moving floats or vehicles.

Competitive Floats
Keep an eye out for out competitive float winners throughout the route!
Floats are judge prior to the start of the program and will showcase their winning sign as they move along the parade!

Weslaco is proud to present cold air balloons in our hometown parade with support of our sponsors!
