The Spencer Pride Festival is a rural LGBTQ+ Pride Festival in south central Indiana. 100% family-focused, the festival features free parking and free admission. There is a huge outdoor marketplace, live entertainment, special events, games, and much more!

Parking instructions
Attendees may park at Boston Scientific (and take the free Pride Shuttle), the Owen County Public Library, or any available downtown parking space. Special parking for people with disabilities is located in front of the post office on Washington Street and managed by Spencer Pride. Parking is free.
Health & safety
Attendees are invited to do whatever they need in order to feel comfortable (wearing a mask, etc.).
Event highlights
Free Admission
Participation in the Spencer Pride Festival is always free. This includes admission, parking, access to live entertainment, our huge marketplace, and much more!
The ONLY activity that has an admission fee is the After Party, which is a 21+ event that takes place at the conclusion of the festival.
Live Entertainment
Throughout the day will be an assortment of live entertainment, including multiple opportunities to experience drag. All entertainment during the festival is free.

All-Ages & Family-Friendly
Spencer Pride is an event for all ages, all abilities, and all families. We have thoughtfully curated an event that is not just safe the whole family - it's fun for the whole family, too!
Food & Beverages
A huge variety of festival foods will be available, including cotton candy, pretzels, fresh baked goods, elephant ears, specialty ice cream, candies, and much, much more! Vegan and vegetarian options are available.
Alcohol Sales
Responsible alcohol sales are available for those 21 years of age and older. Alcohol purchased must remain within the festival area, outdoors. Alcohol is sold by Civilian Brewing Corps and select partners.
Festival Marketplace
Our festival marketplace will feature 100+ booths.
commUnity center
Open from 10 AM until 10 PM on the day of the festival. Official Spencer Pride Festival merchandise will be on sale, including our limited edition t-shirts. Other items include Spencer Pride rainbow jewelry, magnets, bumper stickers, rainbows, & other assorted merchandise. These items will be available for sale at the Spencer Pride commUnity center located a within the heart of the Spencer Pride Festival.
Accessibility Services
A variety of free services are available for those who need it.
Individuals with disabilities will find a dedicated parking area on Washington Street in front of the post office. Enter from the intersection of Washington and Market Streets. There is a parking attendant.
A lactation room is available from 12-6 PM on the second floor of the Tivoli Theatre for individuals who wish to have privacy for breastfeeding/pumping.
A low sensory zone is available on Market Street in the Owen County Community Foundation Building. Ask any volunteer for directions.
Some events now have ASL interpreters. See schedule for details.
Free Shuttle
Pride Shuttle runs from 11:00 AM until 7:30 PM. Attendees may park at Boston Scientific, the Owen County Public Library, or any available downtown parking space. Parking is free.
Individuals attending the After Party should relocate their vehicle prior to attending the After Party, as shuttle service will not be available when the party ends.
The Pride Shuttle does have an accessible option.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Spencer Pride expects event attendees to engage professionally and constructively, handling dissent or disagreement with courtesy, dignity and an open mind, being respectful when providing feedback, and being open to alternate points of view.
In general, Spencer Pride expects participants to be kind to one another and act in a respectful fashion.
UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
Spencer Pride does not tolerate harassment of event attendees or participants in any form. Harassment includes offensive verbal or written comments and negative behavior, including those that are related to or are based upon gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion or other group identity. Harassment also includes display of sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events and unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.
CONSEQUENCES OF UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
If an attendee or participant engages in inappropriate, harassing, abusive or destructive behavior or language, event organizers will determine and carry out the appropriate course of action, including warning the offender, expulsion from the event and/or banning the offender from future Spencer Pride events and activities.
