The program has been so successful between our organizations that in our new agreement with them, they have issued a cap on the number of their members who can receive their very generous Georgia Grown stipend. In one of our spring shows, more than half of our accepted artists are Georgia Grown members! Priority must now be given to agricultural-related items. Georgia Grown will still accept artists who recycle, repurpose or reuse products to “reinvent” their own creations, however we will be more limited on who we can approve. Georgia Grown is also working on a better way to screen new (and past) members, to make sure that exhibitors are a good fit for their programs and benefits (which are great)! When the artist jury meets, they will be subject to this cap. If you aren’t selected as a Georgia Grown member, please let us know in the comments section of this application if you would wish to convert to the regular rate for this event. Otherwise, you may be waitlisted. Remember to also upload proof of your current Georgia Grown membership, which will be your paid receipt.
