2025 Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival

The GrassRoots Festival is a non-profit organization, which raises money for arts, education, and other area non-profits. It is the intent of the organization to create a welcoming, relaxed and open community during the event. It does this by operating almost completely through the effort of over 500 volunteers! As a volunteer, in addition to putting smiles on festival faces, you also receive a 4-Day pass. We also invite volunteers to work four hours on single days if they don't plan to attend for the whole weekend. A 4-Day pass is earned when you work 12 hours during the Festival, or 14 hours prior to the Festival. Consumption, or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol is prohibited during volunteer shifts. Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from volunteering for the weekend and render one ineligible to volunteer at future Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festivals or events.
