2025 Downtown Homecoming Decorating Contest - Let's Give 'em a Knight to Remember

1. Eligibility • Open to all downtown Thomaston businesses and storefronts. • Each business may submit one entry (one decorated storefront). 2. Theme • All decorations must reflect the 2025 Homecoming theme: “Hollywood Knights.” • Businesses are encouraged to use purple and black to show support for the Upson County Knights. 3. Entry Submission • Photos of decorated storefronts must be submitted by September 21, 2025. • Submissions should include the business name, address, and contact information. • Only clear, well-lit photos will be accepted. Organizers are not responsible for poor-quality images. 4. Public Voting • Voting will take place on the Thomaston Main Street Facebook Page from September 22–25, 2025. • The public may cast votes by “liking” the photo of their favorite storefront. • Any attempt to artificially inflate votes (e.g., through bots or purchased likes) will result in disqualification. 5. Winner Announcement • The winner will be announced on September 26, 2025 via the Thomaston Main Street Facebook Page. • The decision is final and not subject to appeal. 6. Rights & Usage • By entering, participants agree that the City of Thomaston may use submitted photos for promotional purposes (social media, website, event publicity, etc.). • No additional compensation will be provided for use of photos. 7. Conduct • Decorations must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. • Offensive, political, or controversial displays may result in disqualification. 8. Liability • The City of Thomaston is not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss that may occur as a result of participation in this contest.
