Welcome to Southern Missouri's Premiere Taco Competition. Taco lovers gather to share their Universal love for TACOS as well as raise money to help local families caring for loved ones with developmental disabilities.
**The People's Choice award will be voted on by YOU!**
All other categories will be judged by certified World Food judges, but will
not be a WFC qualifier.
We are keeping the FOCUS and FUN on you!
Just _tacos_ , _people_ , _margaritas_ and _music_.
This festive culinary extravaganza will blow your taste buds away as you
celebrate your LOCAL restaurants and flavors. All while throwing back you
favorite Tacos! **It's **THE** showcase of the best and brightest
restaurants, food trucks and home cooks, all who converge on Springfield,
Missouri to compete for a shot at being the Taco Champion of SOMO.
This culinary competition of tasty tacos and cool beats has you sipping
margaritas and local beer from the moment you arrive.
Our Vendor Village will have Wares for purchase available as you sip and
nibble your way through the taco extravaganza!
Cast your vote for the **People's Choice Tacao** , tasting each competitors'
dish as many times as you can.
