The Twin Cities Hair & Beauty Expo brings together beauty professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and culture-shapers for a day of connection, commerce, conversation, and celebration. This is more than an expo - it's a movement centered on growth, visibility, and legacy.

**Rooted & Rising** marks the 8th year of the Twin Cities Hair & Beauty Expo -
a year symbolic of **new beginnings, infinite possibility, and forward
movement**.
Grounded in culture, community, and creativity, this year's expo honors where
we've come from while boldly stepping into what's next. _Rooted_ in our
stories, traditions, and purpose - and _Rising_ into expansion, elevation, and
renewed vision.
Since its debut in 2017, the **Twin Cities Hair & Beauty Expo** has earned
national recognition for elevating underrepresented communities of color
throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul region.
What began as a regional gathering has grown into the **largest cultural
symposium in the Upper Midwest** , serving as a hub where **culture, commerce,
and creativity converge**.
More than an event, the Twin Cities Hair & Beauty Expo is an **annual
celebration of cultural freedom** -a space where BIPOC entrepreneurs showcase
their brilliance, build connections, and engage with thousands of attendees
who travel from near and far to be part of the experience.
Driven by a mission to elevate ethnic beauty, culture, and entrepreneurship,
the expo has received widespread support-both locally and nationally. Each
year, consumers from across the country attend, generating significant revenue
for local BIPOC-owned businesses and vendors.
As we evolve, we proudly embrace a more inclusive space-**honoring all
expressions of beauty** , including the artistry of hairstylists and barbers,
and welcoming non-natural hair wearers, recognizing that natural styles may
not suit every lifestyle.
This expansion **does not detract** from our ongoing fight for equity in
natural hair representation. Instead, it reflects our commitment to
celebrating _freedom in beauty_ -a space where all styles and stories are
valued.
We provide a platform that:

* Elevates cultural appreciation over appropriation
* Empowers financial wealth and social equity for people of color
**Our Mission**
To **redefine the standard of beauty** as a 360° experience-where self-worth,
wellness, and wealth come full circle.
