Colourful collage of my original travel photographs and painted scenes in acrylic. I edit my photographs, print then transfer them onto painted wood panel or cut them up by hand. Then I paint in layers to seamlessly blend the photographs and paintings.

Rachael Grad Art
I'm a Toronto artist and non-practicing lawyer who has studied and worked in the US, France, Italy and Hong Kong. In 2008, I left the practice of law to study painting full-time in New York City. My artwork has been shown in solo and group shows in Washington, DC, New York City, Venice, Italy, and the greater Toronto area. I hold degrees from Brandeis University (BA, Honors in Economics & Minor in French Literature), Duke University School of Law (JD) and Sciences Po in Paris, France (Diploma, International Relations). I also studied painting and drawing at New York University, the New York Studio School and OCAD University.
