A tram (also known as “tramcar,” “streetcar” or “cable car”) is one of the oldest forms of urban transportation. The UGEARS Tram is inspired by the earliest streetcars and funiculars and is probably the most romantic model in our catalog. In addition to displaying a great deal of retro flair, the Tram can actually travel on its included adjustable tracks. In level mode the Tram cruises the rails under the power of its wind-up rubber band motor. In incline mode the Tram simply employs the power of gravity along with its gear-drive transmission to gracefully scale down tracks. The Tram even has a hidden box for carrying messages to a special passenger waiting at the next stop. Number of components: 154 Estimated time of assembly: 4-5 hours
Emily and her husband, Jim, have been coming to Dragoncon for many years. They like to cosplay as Sam and Rosie Gamgee, Madeye Moody and Prof. McGonagall, (Mature) Han and Leia, and 7th Dr. Who and the Tardis. Emily loves kaleidoscopes and together with her sister, Ginger, manages her family's Kaleidoscope Shop.
Like a dragon's trove, the Kaleidoscope Shop offers a brilliant array of unique treasures to dazzle the eye, astonish the soul, and stir the imagination. The heart of our hoard features a wide selection of one-of-a-kind kaleidoscope art pieces, fashioned from wood, metal and glass in forms sure to please the most acquisitive DragonCon attender. We also offer a broad array of equally unique gift items, including jewelry, sculpture, trinket boxes, reverse umbrellas, art objects, kinetic wood (UGear) models and more. Our styles appeal to all ages and cross multiple fandoms, from Steampunk to Star Wars and, of course, dragon lovers.
