Trotter Arts is a husband and wife team focused on 2D art. Lynne's love for photography and fabrics pushed us in the direction of dye-sublimation printing on satin fabric. We wanted a finish that could be gallery wrapped without the glare of glass. After experimentation, we found a material and process that produces bright, deep color transitions with a light sheen and no glare. The gallery wrapped final product can be displayed with or without additional framing. We hand stretch and mount each piece in our home studio to ensure the level of quality that we expect. Many of our customers tell us that our products are unique and they love the quality, vibrancy and crispness of the satin prints.
We enjoy field trips around the Southeast, exploring and taking photographs. All the photographs in our portfolio have been take by us! The Trotter Arts portfolio includes coastal scenes to mountain scenes and wildlife. We have expanded our portfolio to include triptychs and our customer base for triptychs is a growing part of our business. Many of our customers appreciate the meticulous matching of the three panels and the precise stretching of the fabric. We create our own layouts and sizes when we print so we are open to customized pieces for that perfect fit in a home or office. All we need is a copy right free, high resolution digital image to begin the process.
In 2014, we invested in Pro Panels and a show tent and began travelling to a few local art shows. In 2019, Howard, an industrial engineer, retired from manufacturing and we plan to selectively participate in 12-15 shows per year as well as working with local customers and designers. Our goal is to produce affordable, high quality art and to share the beauty and joy we find in the world around us. We hope that our art evokes a happy memory and brings joy to the home of office.
