The HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF LULA BELLTON GA (501c3) is dedicated to finding, preserving and sharing documents, artifacts and stories to help people become aware of and enjoy our local history in the cities of Lula and Bellton, Georgia and the surrounding area.
The Historical Society of Lula Bellton does this by organizing and supporting several community events each year. These include the Lula Car Show in June, Lula Fall Festival in late September, Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies, as well as participation in Railroad Days in May and the Christmas Festival & Parade in December.
The Historical Society of Lula Bellton, GA maintains a museum to present its collection to both the local community and visitors. The museum is housed in the historic former City Hall and Jail in Lula, Georgia. At present, the facility is temporarily closed while renovations are underway.
