Everyone asks me how I got into selling Freeze Dried Candy. I did accounting for 25 years and I lost my 24-year-old son in July 2022 to a horrible car accident. The stress of my Job and losing my son "Chance "was more than I could bare so I quit my job of 25 years. During that 1st year of losing Chance my 14-year-old daughter won a state competition and was going to Nationals with her school's FCCLA club (her project was on child mental health and grief). I freeze dried some candy for a fundraiser for her FCCLA competition and a customer asked me about trying another candy and it grew from there. I enjoyed doing it and my husband seen that it was pulling me out of a dark depressed state, and he encouraged me to do more. I now have 3 machines which makes it easy to accommodate small and large events without running out of product. I like my booths to display bright and happy colors and I also use the name Rainbow in a lot of my products that have multiple colors, and I would like to give a very small description why I do both of these. The day of my son's accident I had taken pictures of a double rainbow behind my house, the last picture of the rainbows I had taken that day was at 8:01 pm, his wreck happened at 8:01 pm, I posted this on Facebook when I had realized that both were at the same time. My Son Chance worked at Nucor Steel in Birmingham, AL, and their 1st shift back after his funeral they took a picture of a double rainbow from one end of this huge warehouse to the other end of the warehouse, it was AMAZING. I have taken so many pictures of Rainbows the first year after losing him, more than I have seen in my entire life. One month to the day of his passing I took pictures of 5 rainbows that day, all in different places and the last rainbow I had seen that day was behind our church and had a perfect few when standing at his gravesite. I have pictures to document all the rainbows I have seen. So, the rainbow has significant meaning, and it makes my heart smile to put it on my bags of candy, because out of my dark storm were lots of beautiful bright rainbows. I make sure my booth represents fun and happiness, I also use colors in my booth to represent that. We want to give the best customer service we can, so we always have plenty of unlimited samples for all our customers to try.
