Old Mill Shop Volunteer Sign-Up

Thank you for volunteering at the Old Mill Shop this year! Several shifts and jobs are available before, during and after the Fair!

Volunteer positions are four (4) hours unless otherwise noted. Work one shift and receive a free Fair ticket! As an ambassador for the Foundation, welcoming visitors to Waterford, please follow the golden rule and treat fairgoers, residents, staff and other volunteers as you would wish to be treated. Be polite, helpful and if you are unable to assist someone find someone who can (e.g., your supervisor, information booth, sheriff's deputy, EMTs, staff, etc.). Waterford is a historic village and many of the properties are not accessible by wheel chair. If you have any special needs we should be made aware of regarding the projects you are volunteering for, please add a note in the application. Dress: business casual dress/casual dress is fine. Please dress for the weather but do not wear shorts or ripped shirts. Comfortable walking shoes are a must. This is a rain or shine event. Volunteers must have their own transportation to and from their shift(s). Before and after the Fair, street parking is fine. From 10/3-8/23 do not park on the street. Park on Phillips Farm. Refer to the Fair map. By entering the Fair premises, you consent to being filmed and/or photographed for promotional purposes. Any person desiring not to have their photo/video taken or distributed must contact oldschool@waterfordfoundation.org in writing of his/her/their intentions before the event. Foundation staff and volunteer leads have the right to terminate any volunteer's shift at any time.
