Thank you for applying to be a volunteer at Dublin Comic Con 2024 Summer Edition which is being held at the Convention Centre Dublin this August 24th and 25th.
You are only required to volunteer for one day and as a thank you for all your help, you will be given a ticket for the day you are not working. However, in the event you love volunteering, please feel free to indicate you're working both days in the 'Availability' section below.

Every year we have some amazing volunteers. Unfortunately, every year we are also let down by no-shows and this puts unnecessary pressure on those who do turn up and work so hard, as such we have in place a deposit system whereby successful first-time applicants are required to pay a refundable 40 Euro deposit. Upon completion of your shift, this is returned to you. This is to ensure no one abuses the system and turns up for their free Saturday ticket and does not show up on Sunday (This sadly happens and those people are blacklisted from many future activities and applications to DCC and will have any future tickets cancelled) and also to ensure we're not left short handed and under pressure.

In line with General Data Protection Regulations, all personal data submitted by you will only be used in conjunction with volunteer-related information regarding the DCC 2024 Summer Event and will not be shared or be given to any third parties except for Garda Vetting.
