Thank you! The 2nd Annual Sunset Tequila & Taco Fest is set to kick off on Saturday, November 4th, 2023. A celebration of all things agave, from tequila to mezcal. The event features live entertainment, cocktail and cooking demos, tasty bites from local chefs & restaurants, cocktails, and of course, TEQUILA! All this fun benefits KulaCares, Providing the supplies underserved schools need for teachers to teach and learners to learn. Volunteers are the key to making this event a success. We are seeking qualified and enthusiastic volunteers to serve and help us kick off our inaugural year like pros! Our VIP tasting events are an excellent opportunity to meet people from your community and surrounding areas. Each volunteer should be able to commit to a four-hour shift. As a volunteer, you will receive the following: • One (1) Ticket to attend the event. • Limited Edition Event T-shirt & hat • Free Tacos • Lots of water Shifts & Assignments: While we ask for your preferred area, exact duties will be assigned as soon as you check in for your shift. You will be assigned based on festival needs at that time. You won't get an assignment before you arrive, just a confirmation of the shift time you selected (if available). The Sunset Tequila Fest is an outdoor food festival – please be aware that there will be lots of standing and, in most cases, walking around the festival for most of the assignments. Some areas may require lifting/moving of festival supplies. Lots of smiling and a helpful attitude a must! :-) Volunteer Assignments will include: · Event Setup · Floaters · Ticketing/Check in · Vendor Assistants · General Event Support Volunteer Shifts Friday, November 3rd: 6 PM to 10 PM Saturday, November 4th: 12 PM to 6 PM Saturday, November 4th: 2 PM to 8 PM Saturday, November 4th: 4 PM to 10 PM Saturday, November 4th: 6 PM to 12 AM Please select which shifts you are available to work (you may select multiple shifts, you will be placed where there is availability) During your shift, you may be asked to change assignments and/or locations. We ask that you remain flexible and patient! Please note that even if you sign up with a friend, you may be needed in different areas and may not necessarily "work together" during the event. I understand and acknowledge that my participation in the Sunset Tequila Festival and any 3VENTS, LLC event is entirely voluntary. I understand that submitting an application does not guarantee that I will be confirmed as a volunteer for the event. I also understand that the Volunteer Manager will determine the activities I will participate in based on the shift times I have chosen to work. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I waive any and all claims for myself and my heirs against 3VENTS, LLC, their respective officers, directors, attorneys, successors, and assigns, and all person or entities acting by or through them, including sponsors, vendors, and restaurants, from any and all actions, causes of actions, suits, debts, dues, sums of money, accounts, damages, judgments, demands, injuries (to both person and property), hurt or loss whatsoever, in law or in equity, whether known or unknown, whether asserted or unasserted, at Sunset Tequila Fest and 3VENTS LLC for any injury or illness which may directly or indirectly result from my participation. I further state that I am in proper physical condition to participate in this event. Photographic Release: Volunteer does hereby grant and convey unto 3VENTS, LLC, all rights, title, and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by Sunset Tequila Fest and 3VENTS LLC or authorized by Sunset Tequila Fest and 3VENTS LLC during Volunteer’s activities with Sunset Tequila Fest and 3VENTS LLC, including but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings. Prohibited Activities: Neither consumption of alcohol, tobacco products or illegal drugs, nor is possession of a firearm permitted while the Volunteer is participating at Sunset Tequila Fest and 3VENTS LLC.
