2023 Charlotte Pride Festival and Parade Volunteer

Want to know how all the tents and booths magically show up for Pride? Here's your chance to find out; we need your help getting the streets ready and preparing all spaces for operation.

Our general volunteers are an essential part of the weekend. This is for anyone who's flexible. You'll be assigned a specific task once we determine our outstanding needs the week of the Pride festival. Carpe diem!

Assist with setting up signage and media information prior to start of the Festival.

More of a behind-the-scenes person?  Great! You'll provide backstage support as needed during entertainment. 10am-2pm 6

Help coordinate VIP experience set-up, assist with last minute decoration, table placement and bar fulfillment. Ensure VIP experience tent is ready for guests by start time on each day.

Please be flexible and ready to lend a hand where it's needed. Teens welcome!

As our "Checks and Balances Volunteer," you'll verify ID and distribute age verification wristbands, sell tickets for beverage purchases, issue wristbands for our cashless beverage system, monitor voucher/ticket use, and answer general festival questions with that fountain of knowledge you have (information notebook provided)!

The Parade needs volunteers who are good at supervising and managing the line up and procession as it moves along Tryon St.  You'll get to interact with all of our wonderful parade entries. PLEASE consider this volunteer position. The entire parade is managed by an all volunteer staff,  and we need your help. You'll have tons of fun!
