Volunteer Terms & Conditions
By registering as a volunteer for the International Night Market, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Volunteer Commitment: I agree to arrive on time for my scheduled volunteer shift and remain for the duration of my assigned responsibilities, unless otherwise approved by the event coordinator.
Professional Conduct: I agree to be respectful, courteous, and welcoming toward guests, vendors, performers, fellow volunteers, and event staff.
Diversity & Inclusion: I agree to respect people of all cultures, backgrounds, identities, and beliefs and to contribute to an inclusive and welcoming environment.
Following Instructions: I agree to follow reasonable instructions provided by event coordinators and to comply with applicable event rules and safety procedures.
Safety: I will promptly report any safety concerns, accidents, emergencies, or incidents to an event coordinator.
Volunteer Role: I understand that volunteer assignments may change based on event needs and that I may be asked to assist with different tasks during my shift.
Personal Belongings: I understand that I am responsible for my own personal belongings and that the event organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Photography & Media: I understand that photographs or videos may be taken during the event and may be used for event-related promotional or informational purposes.
Cancellation: If I am unable to attend my scheduled shift, I agree to notify the event coordinator as soon as reasonably possible.
No Compensation: I understand that this is a volunteer position and that I will not receive wages or other financial compensation unless expressly stated by the event organizers.
Release: I understand that volunteering may involve standing, walking, lifting light items, or other routine event-related activities. I agree to participate within my own abilities and to communicate any relevant limitations to the event coordinator.
Removal from Event: Event organizers reserve the right to end a volunteer’s participation if their conduct is unsafe, disruptive, discriminatory, or otherwise inconsistent with the expectations of the event.
By submitting my volunteer registration, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
