About the application

Help bring Orlando's Come Out With Pride Festival to life by preparing the festival grounds before attendees arrive and assisting with post-event breakdown. Festival Set Up Volunteers are responsible for placing directional, informational, sponsor, and event signage in designated locations throughout the festival grounds using site maps and instructions, ensuring signage is installed accurately and consistently. At the conclusion of the event, volunteers will remove and collect signage, report any missing or damaged materials to event staff, and help leave the festival grounds organized. This role requires the ability to work outdoors, follow directions, and collaborate with fellow volunteers and staff to create a safe, welcoming, and successful event. **Virtual training for this event will be held on 10/13/26 @ 7:00pm. Zoom link will follow!** Physical Requirements: Volunteer roles may require standing and walking for extended periods, as well as occasional bending, reaching, or lifting of supplies and equipment. Some positions may involve lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be made whenever possible to enable volunteers of all abilities to participate. If you have questions about the physical requirements of a specific role or need an accommodation, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator before your shift. Volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt, snacks during their shift, and invites to future volunteer meet-up & appreciation events.
