About the event

Mountain Heritage Days is a gift from Western Carolina University to the community, hosting week-long educational events showcasing how much we value this incredible, beautiful region we call home and its diverse culture and history. Following with a free, outdoor festival where visitors can enjoy unique demonstrations, live entertainment, and tons of family-friendly activities, as well as arts and crafts / food vendors, celebrating Appalachian Mountain culture! SEPTEMBER 26 MOUNTAIN HERITAGE DAYS!!! (10 A.M. - 3 P.M.)

About the application

This sign up is for interns and staff of the Mountain Heritage Center for the Mountain Heritage Days festival event on Saturday, September 26th. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your shift for check-in. You will assist with a variety of activities and needs related to running a successful festival. Your supervisors at the Mountain Heritage Center will provide you with additional details.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting your application, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. 1. Age Requirement: All volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. 2. Waiver Agreement: Volunteers are required to sign a Volunteer Agreement and Photo/Video Release Waiver prior to beginning their shift. 3. Orientation: Volunteers must watch a short orientation video, which will be emailed to them closer to the event date. Additional important documents will also be provided and must be reviewed.
