Join Us for Christmas Stroll in Georgetown Texas The 45th Annual Christmas Stroll! It’s not just a stroll—it’s a timeless holiday tradition! This year, the Downtown Georgetown Association transforms Historic Downtown Georgetown into a classic Christmas experience for a FREE THREE-DAY EVENT filled with festive fun. Kick off your holiday season with joyful, family-friendly activities at the 45th Annual Christmas Stroll. From cherished traditions to festive entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Don’t miss the Christmas Parade on Saturday morning—a highlight of the Stroll! Afterward, stop by Santa’s Workshop for a photo opportunity, enjoy Whoo Hair and face painting, and explore over 200 artisan, craft, and boutique vendors offering unique holiday gifts. Enjoy live music and entertainment, delicious dining options, and seasonal treats from local restaurants and food vendors. Be sure to stroll through the Square’s beautifully decorated storefronts, take festive photos, and soak in every moment of this beloved Georgetown tradition. Grab your family and friends and join us for an unforgettable holiday experience at the 45th Annual Georgetown Christmas Stroll! Friday: A Festive Start to the Stroll December 4: 4:00pm – 9:30pm Kickoff Celebration: Join us for a festive evening with live entertainment and the grand illumination of Downtown Georgetown’s holiday lights, transforming the Square into a beautifully lit Christmas setting. It’s the perfect way to welcome the season, sip on hot cocoa, and share in the excitement of the Stroll. Vendor Preview: Get a first look at gifts for everyone on your list. Stroll through over 200 vendor booths featuring handcrafted décor, artisan goods, and boutique treasures. Friday evening is the perfect time to shop for one-of-a-kind finds. Stroll the Square: Explore the beautifully decorated storefronts of Historic Downtown Georgetown. Browse local boutiques and specialty shops offering exclusive promotions and early holiday deals. Saturday: Parade, Shopping & Family Fun December 5: 10:00am – 9:30pm Christmas Parade: A crowd favorite! Watch festive floats, performers, and community groups fill the streets with holiday spirit. Parade begins at 10:00am. Santa, Whoo Hair & Face Painting: Visit Santa on the courthouse lawn for photos, enjoy Whoo Hair makeovers, and let face painters add festive flair for the whole family. Vendor Booths & Food Trucks: Browse rows of artisan vendors offering unique gifts and enjoy a variety of food trucks and seasonal favorites. Shop Local Boutiques: Explore Downtown Georgetown’s charming shops, filled with holiday décor, gifts, and dining options perfect for a festive outing. Kids Zone Fun: Enjoy a dedicated space for family activities including games, crafts, interactive experiences, rock wall, obstacle course, and more—fun for all ages. Snow in the Park: Experience a winter wonderland right here in Georgetown with falling snow, creating a fun and memorable holiday experience for the whole family. Sunday: A Relaxing Holiday Finale December 7: 10:00am – 4:00pm Stroll the Square: Wind down the weekend with a relaxed day of shopping, dining, and enjoying the sights and sounds of the Christmas Stroll. Family Activities: Continue the fun with kid-friendly activities, crafts, and entertainment for all ages. Closing Celebration: Enjoy final performances and a cheerful send-off to another wonderful year of the Christmas Stroll.

About the application

We’re gearing up for another Downtown Georgetown Association in Downtown Georgetown — and we’d love for you to join us again! Your time and heart helped make last year’s Stroll a wonderful success, filling the Square with joy and community spirit. Because of dedicated volunteers like you, families from near and far continue to make this cherished Georgetown tradition part of their holiday season. This year’s theme is Hometown Christmas Stroll "A Season To Gather", and the event will be held Friday–Sunday, December 4–6, 2025, during the following hours: · Friday, December 4: 4:00 PM – 9:30 PM · Saturday, December 5: 10:00 AM – 9:30 PM o Parade 10:00 AM · Sunday, December 6: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM We’re looking for cheerful, dependable volunteers to help in these key areas: Parking Lots – Manage handicap and VIP parking lots according to DGA instructions. Maintain a friendly smile and help guests navigate parking parking and provide directions. Whether you can volunteer for a few hours or the full weekend, your time helps create a warm, welcoming experience for everyone who visits the Stroll. Georgetown Christmas Stroll Volunteer Terms and Conditions Volunteer Acknowledgment By signing the question below, I acknowledge that I am participating as a volunteer for the Georgetown Christmas Stroll, organized by the Downtown Georgetown Association. I understand that I am not an employee, agent, or contractor of the Association and that I will not receive wages, compensation, or benefits for my participation. My involvement is voluntary and done for community benefit. ________________________________________ Commitment & Attendance Volunteers are expected to honor their scheduled shifts and arrive on time. If a volunteer is unable to attend, they must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to the volunteer coordinator so adjustments can be made. ________________________________________ Conduct & Behavior Volunteers are representatives of the Downtown Georgetown Association and are expected to act respectfully, courteously, and professionally at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior toward staff, vendors, participants, or fellow volunteers will not be tolerated. Volunteers are expected to follow all instructions given by event staff and coordinators. ________________________________________ Alcohol, Drugs, and Smoking Policy Consumption or possession of alcohol or illegal drugs while volunteering or while wearing volunteer identification is strictly prohibited. Volunteers may not report to their shifts under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Smoking and vaping are only allowed in designated areas. ________________________________________ Liability Waiver I understand that participating as a volunteer may involve risks, including but not limited to physical activity, exposure to weather, and interaction with the public. By signing below, I release and hold harmless the Downtown Georgetown Association, the City of Georgetown, event sponsors, and their representatives from all claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of my participation as a volunteer. ________________________________________ Medical Treatment Authorization In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize event staff or emergency medical personnel to administer necessary care or arrange transportation for further medical attention. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred because of such treatment. ________________________________________ Safety & Compliance Volunteers agree to follow all event safety procedures, emergency protocols, and staff directions. Closed-toe shoes and appropriate attire are required. Volunteers must immediately report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the volunteer coordinator. ________________________________________ Dismissal Policy The Downtown Georgetown Association reserves the right to dismiss any volunteer at any time for failure to follow instructions, misconduct, or behavior that negatively reflects on the event or organization. ________________________________________ Volunteer Meeting Requirement All volunteers are required to attend a volunteer orientation meeting, either in person or online, prior to the event.
