About the event

Holiday in the Park is Burbank’s largest street festival, held annually the Friday before Thanksgiving. Stretching over a mile along Magnolia Boulevard, the event features over 300 vendors, live entertainment, food trucks, a classic car show, kids' Fun Zone, and a Ferris wheel — all under a festive canopy of holiday lights. Free and open to the public, the event attracts more than 50,000 attendees each year. This is a rain or shine event, and pets must be leashed. Parking shuttle available. For more information and vendor details, visit holidayinthepark.org.

About the application

Help bring Holiday in the Park to life on Friday, November 20, 2026, on Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank. The public event runs 4:00–10:00 PM and is produced by Magnolia Park Events, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Volunteer assignments cover morning setup, vendor arrival, guest services, the MPMA information booth, Art Block, both stages, Car Show, Volunteer HQ, and closing through approximately 11:30 PM. Choose your preferred departments and tell us when you are available. We will confirm your role, shift, check-in point, and lead based on event needs; first choices are not guaranteed. Specific blocks are assigned internally. Leadership and some specialized, vehicle-adjacent, and closing assignments require organizer review. Do not select overlapping shifts. Volunteers must be at least 13. Under-18 volunteers need written parent/guardian consent and may need an adult chaperone under the existing event terms. Instructions and training will be provided before your assignment. Please check in and out for every assignment and let us know promptly if your availability changes. Service-hour verification is available for completed, verified participation. Students should confirm their school’s requirements and bring any required form. For accommodations, message the primary contact through Eventeny; please do not include medical details in this application.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting this application, I agree to volunteer for Holiday in the Park, produced by Magnolia Park Events (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) in coordination with the Magnolia Park Merchants Association (MPMA) and the City of Burbank (collectively, “Event Organizers”). 1. Voluntary status and no compensation: I am serving as a volunteer, not an employee, agent, or contractor. I will not receive wages, benefits, or expense reimbursement. My service is at will and may be ended at any time by me or the Event Organizers. 2. Assumption of risk: I understand event work can involve physical activity, extended standing/walking, lifting up to 25 lbs, exposure to weather, crowds, vehicles, equipment, and other hazards, including illness (e.g., COVID-19). I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation. 3. Release and hold harmless: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Magnolia Park Events, MPMA, the City of Burbank, their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, venue and property owners, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to my participation, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct. 4. Medical authorization: In an emergency, I authorize first aid and/or medical treatment as deemed necessary. I am responsible for all resulting costs. I have disclosed any conditions that could affect my safe participation. 5. Conduct and safety: I will follow all instructions from Event Organizers, comply with safety rules, traffic control, and City directives, and wear any required identification or safety gear. No alcohol, illegal drugs, or weapons while on duty. Event Organizers may reassign or dismiss me for any reason. 6. Property and equipment: I am responsible for my personal property. Event Organizers are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items I bring to the event. 7. Confidentiality and data: If I am given access to nonpublic information (e.g., vendor or attendee info), I will keep it confidential and use it only for event purposes. 8. Photo/video release: I grant Event Organizers the right to photograph, record, and use my likeness, voice, and statements in any media for promotional or archival purposes without compensation. 9. Minors: Volunteers under 18 must have written parent/guardian consent and may be required to be accompanied by an adult chaperone unless otherwise approved in writing. 10. Accessibility: If I require a reasonable accommodation to volunteer, I will email the event as early as possible so arrangements can be explored. 11. Governing law: These terms are governed by California law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
