Fargo-Moorhead Pride Volunteer
Waiver of Liability
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Fargo-Moorhead Pride! We appreciate your help and support. Please review this waiver as a condition of your participation in the event.
By filling out this application you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following as a condition of my participation in any event associated with Fargo-Moorhead Pride. All agreements are intended to apply between myself (“Volunteer”) and the Fargo-Moorhead Pride committee and organization, The Pride Collective and Community Center, and all associated coordinators, volunteers, employees, members, representatives, and agents (“Organization”). All events associated with Fargo-Moorhead Pride shall be referred to as the “Event.”
I acknowledge and agree that I am not employee of the Organization and will not receive any compensation or benefit as a result of my participation in the Event, nor will be eligible for any coverage under any workers compensation or other insurance or protection.
I hereby agree to waive and release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Organization and any of its organizers, coordinators, volunteers, representatives, employees, or agents of and from any and all claims, demands, debts, contracts, expenses, causes of action, lawsuits, damages, and liabilities, of any kind and nature, whether known or unknown, that I have had or may have, arising in any way from my participation in the event, provided this waiver of liability does not apply to any acts of gross negligence, or intentional, willful, or wanton misconduct. This waiver shall include any claim that may arise as a result of any first aid, treatment, service, or other medical assistance rendered in connection with my participation as a Volunteer in the Event.
I assume all risk associated with my participation in the Event, including the risk of injury, harm, illness, property damage, or death, and accordingly release the Organization from any associated liability.
I hereby agree to follow any and all local, state, and federal laws, ordinances, and regulations, and any directions, instructions, or rules issued by the Organization.
I hereby grant and convey unto the Organization all rights and permissions to use my name and any photographs, video or audio recordings, motion pictures, or any other record of my participation in the Event for any publicity and/or promotional purposes without obligation or liability to me.
I have read, understand, and fully agree to the terms set forth above. I am 18 years of age or older and competent to agree and sign this waiver.
