About the application

Join us in celebrating freedom, independence, and community at our Freedom Fest celebration! Volunteers play an important role in helping create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Responsibilities may include event setup and breakdown, greeting guests, assisting vendors and performers, supporting childrenโ€™s activities, distributing materials, monitoring activity areas, and helping with crowd flow and cleanup. We are looking for dependable, positive, and community-minded individuals who are passionate about service and celebrating American independence. Volunteers should be prepared to work as part of a team, communicate respectfully with guests, and help promote the spirit and significance of Independence Day. This is a great opportunity to give back, connect with the community, and honor the meaning of freedom through service and fellowship.

Terms & Conditions

By volunteering for the Freedom Fest Celebration, participants agree to the following terms and conditions: Volunteer Commitment Volunteers agree to arrive on time, fulfill assigned duties, and notify event organizers as soon as possible if they are unable to attend. Code of Conduct Volunteers are expected to behave respectfully and professionally toward guests, staff, vendors, performers, and fellow volunteers. Disruptive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior may result in dismissal from volunteer service. Safety & Instructions Volunteers agree to follow all event rules, safety procedures, and directions provided by event coordinators and staff. Minor Volunteers Volunteers under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate unless accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult chaperone for the entire duration of the event. The accompanying adult is responsible for the minor's supervision, conduct, and safety throughout the event. Liability Waiver Volunteers understand that participation is voluntary and assume responsibility for their own personal health and safety during the event. The event organizers are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property. Media Release Volunteers grant permission for photographs and video taken during the event to be used for promotional, marketing, and community purposes without compensation. Dress Code Volunteers may be required to wear designated volunteer shirts, badges, or appropriate attire suitable for an outdoor community event. Substance-Free Environment Volunteers may not participate while under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances. Confidentiality & Representation Volunteers agree to represent the event positively and not share confidential event information or speak on behalf of organizers without authorization. Weather & Event Changes Event organizers reserve the right to modify schedules, assignments, or cancel activities due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. Agreement By signing up as a volunteer, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
