About the event

Mountain Heritage Days is a gift from Western Carolina University to the community, hosting week-long educational events showcasing how much we value this incredible, beautiful region we call home and its diverse culture and history. Following with a free, outdoor festival where visitors can enjoy unique demonstrations, live entertainment, and tons of family-friendly activities, as well as arts and crafts / food vendors, celebrating Appalachian Mountain culture! SEPTEMBER 26 MOUNTAIN HERITAGE DAYS!!! (10 A.M. - 3 P.M.)

About the application

Only Chancellor Ambassadors should sign up for this volunteer activity. Volunteers will join MHDs at the drink booths to help refresh attendees. Tasks include stocking beverages, processing sales, answering questions. You’ll be asked to complete a short training on the credit card machine.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting your application, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. 1. Age Requirement: All volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. 2. Waiver Agreement: Volunteers are required to sign a Volunteer Agreement and Photo/Video Release Waiver prior to beginning their shift. 3. Orientation: Volunteers must watch a short orientation video, which will be emailed to them closer to the event date. Additional important documents will also be provided and must be reviewed. 4. Complete a short training on the credit card machine.
