Winchendon Honkey Tonk Saturday, October 3, 2026 | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Winchendon Community Park Amphitheater 86 Ingleside Road, Winchendon, MA Join the Town of Winchendon Parks & Recreation Department for an evening of live country music at the Winchendon Community Park Amphitheater. The Winchendon Honkey Tonk brings together great music, community spirit, and a beautiful fall setting for a memorable outdoor concert experience. Featuring Live Performances By: Whitney Doucet Band AK Cody & The Northmen Guests can enjoy high-quality live country performances, dancing space under the open sky, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for general admission seating. Beer and beverage service will be available in accordance with Massachusetts state regulations (valid ID required for 21+ purchases). This event is designed to provide a fun, safe, and engaging evening for residents and visitors alike. We invite you to gather with friends and family to celebrate music and community at Winchendon Community Park. Tickets are limited. Advance purchase is recommended. About the application

As a Setup volunteer, you will assist with preparing the event space. This is a hands-on role that includes moving equipment and organizing materials before and after the event. Responsibilities May Include: • Setting up tables, chairs, tents, signage, and decorations • Assisting with unloading and loading supplies • Helping position and test sound or lighting equipment (under supervision) • Assisting vendors or performers with their setup needs Requirements: • Ability to lift 25+ lbs is helpful but not required for all tasks • Comfortable working indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions • Willingness to take direction and work as part of a team • Arrive early depending on your shift assignment Note: Volunteers should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Gloves and safety gear will be provided as needed.

As a volunteer for the Town of Winchendon, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Conduct & Representation You must be able to follow all directions given by event staff and coordinators. Volunteers are expected to represent the Town of Winchendon in a positive, respectful, and professional manner at all times. This includes treating attendees, staff, performers, and fellow volunteers with courtesy and respect. 2. Appearance & Dress Code Volunteers must dress appropriately for a public, family-friendly event. If a volunteer shirt or badge is provided, it must be worn for easy identification. 3. Punctuality & Attendance Volunteers are expected to arrive on time and stay for the duration of their assigned shift unless other arrangements have been made in advance. 4. Safety & Awareness Volunteers are expected to remain alert, follow safety guidelines, and report any suspicious or emergency situations to staff immediately. You may be asked to assist with minor first aid or crowd management if comfortable and trained. 5. Communication Volunteers should regularly check their email or preferred method of communication for updates or instructions prior to the event. If your availability changes, please notify the volunteer coordinator as soon as possible. 6. Confidentiality & Media Any confidential information learned during your volunteer duties (e.g., performer schedules, security protocols) should not be shared. Photos or media taken while volunteering may be used by the Town of Winchendon for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested. 7. Liability & Waiver By volunteering, you acknowledge that you are participating at your own risk. The Town of Winchendon is not responsible for any personal injury or loss of personal belongings during your volunteer shift. 8. Dismissal The Town of Winchendon reserves the right to dismiss volunteers for misconduct, failure to follow instructions, or behavior that disrupts the safety or enjoyment of the event.
