Thank you for volunteering with the Liberty Fall Festival, presented by the Liberty Chamber. By signing up as a volunteer, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Volunteer Role & Responsibilities
Volunteers agree to perform the duties assigned to them to the best of their ability.
Roles may include, but are not limited to: vendor check-in, parade support, carnival area monitoring, trash pickup, hospitality, and booth assistance.
Volunteers must follow instructions from festival staff, coordinators, and law enforcement at all times.
2. Conduct & Behavior
Volunteers are expected to be respectful, professional, and courteous to festival attendees, vendors, sponsors, staff, and fellow volunteers.
No consumption of alcohol or illegal substances is permitted while volunteering.
Volunteers may not engage in conduct that could endanger their own or others ' safety.
3. Scheduling & Attendance
Volunteers agree to arrive on time for their assigned shifts and remain for the full duration unless dismissed early by a coordinator.
If unable to attend, volunteers must notify the Volunteer Coordinator as soon as possible.
4. Safety & Liability
Volunteers must follow all safety protocols and wear the provided safety gear (vests, ID badges, etc.) when required.
Volunteers understand that participation involves some inherent risks and agree to assume full responsibility for their own safety.
The Liberty Chamber and the City of Liberty are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property while volunteering.
5. Waiver & Release
By volunteering, you release and hold harmless the Liberty Chamber, the City of Liberty, event sponsors, and their officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your volunteer participation.
6. Media Consent
Volunteers grant permission for the Liberty Chamber to use photographs, videos, or audio recordings taken during the festival for promotional and marketing purposes, without compensation.
7. Age Requirements
Volunteers under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to participate.
Certain roles may be restricted to volunteers 18 years or older.
