About the event

We are still going to have some fun and give away $1100 in cash plus many great prizes! Video Cooking contest entries may be submitted October 1 - 15. About the application

Private food vendor: An individual who does not have an established food business/location, and does not routinely sell food items to the public but is instead selling food items on a temporary basis for this event. Must comply with all applicable health regulations. Examples: Hot dog stand, food truck not associated with a restaurant, etc. DOES NOT INCLUDE ELECTRICITY. MUST PURCHASE BOTH BOOTH and ELECTRICITY, if needed. Booth Size 24 * 18 for food trucks/wagons. Standard Booth size is 12ft by 12ft. Mush, Music & Mutts provides designated space requirements. Vendors must provide all of their own supplies including tables, chairs and/or tents. Vendors are not to exceed the designated space. If you will need additional space for merchandise, supplies, equipment, etc., you should reserve two spaces. Vendors that exceed their space may be asked to leave or have an additional booth fee charged to them. The festival us from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. This is a RAIN or SHINE event and will not be canceled. No refunds will be made to vendors that do not participate. In order to provide the best experience for attendees, vendors must be present for the duration of the festival. Vendors agree to remain set up for the entire festival. No shows, late arrivals or early departures may be charged an additional fee and/or prohibited from future participation.

Terms & Conditions

The 2019 Mush, Music & Mutts Festival had an estimated 10,000 – 12,000 in attendance. In good weather, numbers are typically higher. Our goal is to have a balanced mix of food vendors, arts and craft vendors, product vendors and display vendors. We are especially interested in vendors with liver mush related angles, high quality products/services, unique and/or handcrafted items and positive experiences for our attendees. We will select from applicants that support this mix. It is our goal to make this application process as smooth as possible. Have questions? Need support processing your application? Let us know! We are happy to help and will reach out as quickly as possible! Please follow the steps below. CHARGES Once applications are submitted, an application fee of $10 will be charged. Application fees are non-refundable. Vendor Fee and Electricity fee will be charged within 1-14 days if your application is approved. 1. Select your Vendor Type. Descriptions are provided. 2. Picture Instructions: Beginning in 2021, 3 photos of your vendor setup will be required for each applicant. In 2020 (this year) you may upload 3 or more but only one is required. You may include your logo in addition, if applicable. 3. Review the Documents, files, instructions, & waivers. a. REQUIRED Review and Complete the Liability Waiver: Applications will not be accepted without a completed/signed Liability Waiver. b. REQUIRED Food vendors must review and comply with all Cleveland County, NC health department rules. See attachments and, if necessary, contact the designated health department contact on paperwork. c. For your reference, a Temporary Food Establishment Checklist for Permitting is provided. 4. PRICES: Select the pricing. 5. PRICES: If you need electricity, select the ELECTRICITY option that meets your needs for type. Electricity is on a first come first serve basis as there are limited event panels with power access available. These must be coordinated and activated in advance by the City of Shelby. No requests or changes will be addressed after October 1st. Prior to that, requests will be considered based on availability. You are responsible for providing your own extension cords and power strips if needed. Extension cords can’t be placed where hazards may be created. We absorb the fees associated with credit card transactions using this platform so that you don’t have to! Other than whatever your banking/credit card company fees are, you will not pay any credit card processing fees for your registration on this site.
