45th Annual International Folk Festival September 22nd- September 24th All nationalities join together each year at The Arts Council's International Folk Festival to honor and celebrate our diverse cultural heritage as ONE COMMUNITY. About the application

In addition to the cultural food, education, and entertainment we plan to have an extensive ART focus for our festival to include Art installations, Live ART, and of course an Arts Market.  We would like to invite you to join us for the largest celebration of ARTS and culture in the area and apply as a Vendor in our Arts Market.  

Thank you for your interest in being an ARTS MARKET vendor at the 2023 International Folk Festival hosted by the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County in Downtown Fayetteville. 
 
PLEASE NOTE:  This application only applies to Art Market Vendors, please consult the homepage for a list of all other vendor applications (Food, Parade, International etc.).
 
ART MARKET Hours:
Saturday September 23th 12pm-7pm
Sunday September 24th   12pm-7pm
 
Arts and Craft Vendors: $100
 
This price includes one 10x10 booth space at our 45th Annual International Folk Festival.  The Arts Council will provide each Artist with a space number and 10x10 space NOT INCLUDING ELECTRICITY (May be purchased for additional fee).  The artist will be responsible for any tent, tables, chairs, merchandise, wifi access and other equipment needed to sell your art/wares during the event.
 
Vendors will be charged the full amount of the application to include additional options (electricity, late fee, early morning set-up etc.) if/when application is approved.  The festival is a rain or shine festival and no refunds or exchanges will be allowed after submission.

Terms & Conditions

In addition to the terms and conditions listed on this application, each accepted vendor is a representation of The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County and is expected to maintain a level of professionalism and care for the ARTS.  We have the authority and responsibility to remove any vendors that do not comply with our internal festival rules/guidelines as well as local/federal guidelines.
 
Furthermore, Accepted vendors will receive additional information about festival rules to include parking, vendor set-up, load-in and a variety of other questions.

Prices

Late Fee $50 Non-refundable Any applications submitted after August 30, 2023 will be subject to a $50.00 late fee. These applications will taken on a case-by-case basis and dependent on festival space availability.
Electricity $25 Non-refundable Due to the nature of the festival being an outdoor event during the day there is not a need for artists to purchase electricity for lighting. However, to make a more comfortable experience for artists using pay systems, small fans or other small electrical uses we will provide outlet access for an additional $25. NOT ALL VENDOR LOCATIONS ARE LOCATED NEAR ELECTRICITY... if you feel you will need electricity for your booth we ask that you request during the application process so we can accommodate prior to vendor load-in. The use of generators of any kind will be strictly prohibited at the festival.
Saturday Morning Load-in $25 Non-refundable $25 fee to load in on Saturday morning between 7 am-9 am... vehicles will not be allowed on the street but will be allowed to unload from the parking lot. Vehicles will need to be out of the footprint as of 9:30 am.
