About the event

The downtown St. Patrick's day celebration includes a St. Patrick's Day Parade & Celtic Fair Street Party that all takes place the Saturday after nearest St. Patrick’s Day. The St. Patrick's Day Parade & Celtic Fair presented by Downtown Billings Alliance & Hooligans Sports Bar has been a tradition in the Billings community for 40 years. This annual parade celebrates our community's Irish American heritage and features over 40 festival floats and the Celtic Fair & Street Party fill the streets below Skypoint with the scent of street food and the festive sound of music, cloggers, bag-pipers.  Expect live entertainment and amplified music, a festive atmosphere with outdoor family-friendly activities, food trucks, and more.. These events are free for the community to attend. This event is supported by TDS Fiber with additional event sponsorships from The Zone 96.3, Planet 106.7, My Classic Hits 105.9, and KSky 96.3.

About the application

Saturday, March 18, 2023 - St. Patrick's Day Celtic Fair & Street Party 
This event runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm. *The annual Parade Begins at 11:00am (runs just under 60 min). 
 
This application is not a guarantee of event participation.
 
Celtic Fair Vendor applications will be juried. Vendor space is limited in the Celtic Fair due to the parade route making a turn onto N. Broadway under Skypoint. There are only 19 10ft x 10ft vendor spaces available in The Celtic Fair & Street Party for vendors who need time to set-up and tear-down. 
 
After Parade pop-in vendors: There are only 6 to 8 additional vendor spaces available from 12:30pm to 3:00pm after the parade has finished for "pop-in/walk-in" vendors who can be ready within minutes of arriving. There are a separate pop-in vendor requirements and a different application for these vendors. 
 
All vendors confirmed by the jury committee will receive a confirmation as to the status of their application. All applicants will be notified after the application deadline.
 
Vendor Set-up map and instructions will be sent to this email address below the week prior to the event.

All applicants will receive an email confirming or declining their application by the application deadline. Vendor Application deadline is 4:00pm, February 20, 2023.
 
This is an electronic agreement and by applying, you are validating and approving this agreement and the vendor festival terms & conditions electronically.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Only one vendor per entry. Multiple purveyors may not combine into one space.
  2. Site assignment is at the discretion of the event organizers. Location requests are welcome but not guaranteed.
  3. Vendors must provide their own canopies, tables, chairs, sand-bags/weights, tarps, heaters (propane heaters allowed), and other equipment needed during the event. THERE ARE NO ON-SITE ELECTRICAL OUTLETS AVAILABLE IN THIS FESTIVAL. Vendors needing electricity must provide their own whisper quiet power generators.

  5. Confirmation: Confirmed vendors will receive a confirmation email no sooner than September 15. Festival Fees will be charged to the vendor upon confirmation. Festival fees must be paid in full by March 3, 2023. All current DBA members who apply to the festival will receive early priority confirmation. 
  6. Communication: Vendor confirmation emails and event details will be sent through email. Expect your Site Assignment, Set-up Instructions, and Festival map the week prior to the festival. This information will also be uploaded to the event webpage on www.downtownbillings.com.
  7. All food vendors are responsible for licensing through Riverstone Health Department and responsible for keeping themselves up to date on the requirements for mobile food vending. The event organizers will send a list of all participating food vendors to Riverstone Health Department. Food vendors must contact Riverstone Health Dept 406-247-3200 to ensure eligibility.
  8. Set-up & tear-down will take place on the day of the event during designated times. All vendors must be fully operational at the event start time (9am) and operate during the entire duration of the event. In the event a vendor has failed to occupy their space by 1 hour prior to event start, the DBA has the right to utilize such space in any manner it chooses; said vendor will forfeit all fees paid.
  9. Vendor Cancellation Policy: 90% of paid Festival Fees will be refunded for cancellations by vendor made prior to February 20, 2023 or within 48 hours of vendor confirmation email (whichever is the latest date).
  10. This is a rain, snow or shine event only cancelled due to present hazardous weather conditions or in light of a public safety notice put out from a city or state government agency. Be prepared for variable weather conditions including snow, rain, and/or wind.
  11. Parking: Vendor vehicles are not allowed to be parked inside the event area at any time during the event. Available on-street parking is free on weekends. Please note that some lots & garages do charge a daily rate for parking. 
  12. In the event that a vendor for any reason does not comply with the regulations of this event, the event staff reserves the right to close down that vendor. Said vendor will forfeit all fees paid. Vendor will not be able to apply for a DBA hosted event in the future.
  13. Applicant/vendor will not hold the Downtown Billings Alliance (DBA), the City of Billings, Yellowstone County, parade or event sponsors responsible for any damage, expense, or liability arising from injury or damage to said participant, your agents, employees, or property and agrees to indemnify DBA, the City of Billings, Yellowstone County and any parade sponsors for any and all damages, claims, or disbursements made for our on behalf of the participants.
  14. Solicitation of funds, signatures, etc. must be confined to your designated booth space. While this is an event open to the public, it is both coordinated and insured privately through the Downtown Billings Alliance and thus all solicitation within the permitted closure must be pre-approved by the host organization. Un-approved solicitation and vendors will be required to leave the permitted event space. 

Prices

Vendor Festival Fee (rate per 10'x10') $140 Select quantity of 10 foot x 10 foot spaces you need to have success.
Non-Profit/DBA Member Festival Fee (rate per 10'x10') $75 Price reserved for nonprofit organizations and current DBA members only. Vendor must select quantity of 10 foot x 10 foot spaces needed.
