45th Annual International Folk Festival September 22nd- September 24th All nationalities join together each year at The Arts Council's International Folk Festival to honor and celebrate our diverse cultural heritage as ONE COMMUNITY. Now in its 44th year, our region's longest-standing family festival features over 30+ CULTURAL GROUPS represented in our Parade of Nations, International Café & Cultural performances which unify in sharing the artistic vibrancy of their heritage. 50,000-75,000+ ATTENDEES enjoy an array of festivities in the performing arts, live music and dance, international cuisines, ART Market, Kids Area, and lots of family-friendly fun Arts Market Parade of Nations Around the World 5k Run International Cuisines Cultural Performances Interactive Art Installations Kids Area

About the application

We would like to invite the entire International community of Fayetteville/Cumberland County to join us for the best parade of the year!!!!   The parade of nations is one our key feature events and showcases the rich cultural heritage and diversity that we have within the Cumberland County & NC Region.  
 
With over 30+ nations represented in our parade we have an opportunity to join an existing country group that is marching in the parade or start your own group to ensure that your heritage/nationality is represented in our parade.  If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us via phone 910-323-1776 or email events@theartscouncil.com

Terms & Conditions

In addition to the terms and conditions listed on this application, each accepted parade participant is a representation of The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County and is expected to maintain a level of professionalism and care for the ARTS.  We have the authority and responsibility to remove any participants that do not comply with our internal festival rules/guidelines as well as local/federal guidelines.
 
Furthermore, Accepted participants will receive additional information about festival rules to include parking, vendor set-up, load-in and a variety of other questions.
 
PARTICIPANTS THAT DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WALK IN THE PARADE.  This is for the safety and security of all participants and parade attendees.
