PARTICIPATION RULES
- Have your window decorated and ready when the contest begins November 28; maintain it through December 20.
- Keep displays family-friendly and visible from the public sidewalk. No purchase is necessary to view or vote.
- Do not obstruct entrances, accessible routes, exits, fire equipment, or safe visibility. Use secure decorations and safe electrical materials; obtain any required property-owner permission.
- Display the official contest QR-code sign where visitors can easily scan it. Each visitor may cast one People’s Choice ballot; do not offer incentives in exchange for votes.
- Maintain your window and remove temporary materials after the season. Businesses are responsible for their own decorations and cleanup.
LOCAL STUDENT & ARTIST PROGRAM
Need a creative hand? Retailers may request help from local student artists or community artists to paint or decorate a window, subject to availability. The store owner directs and approves the design, agrees on supplies, schedule, any payment or volunteer arrangement, and cleanup with the artist.
