Santa Paws Fashion Show

Let your pet strut their holiday style in Oxford’s Santa Paws Fashion Show, part of A Hometown Christmas! We invite pet owners to register their furry friends for a festive showcase of Christmas costumes, cozy sweaters and creative holiday outfits. Matching pet-and-owner looks are welcome!

Use this application to tell us about your pet and their outfit. Pets must be comfortable around people and other animals, remain leashed or safely contained, and be supervised by their owner throughout the event. Choose an outfit that allows your pet to move comfortably—and get ready to spread some Christmas cheer!

By registering for Oxford’s Santa Paws Fashion Show, I agree to the following:

Participation and Supervision

I am at least 18 years old and am the pet’s owner or have the owner’s permission to participate. An adult must remain responsible for each pet throughout check-in, the fashion show and departure. Children participating as handlers must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Pet Health and Behavior
My pet is current on vaccinations required by law and is free of known contagious illness. I will not bring a pet that is aggressive or unable to comfortably tolerate crowds, other animals, music or costumes. Organizers may request vaccination documentation and may remove any pet showing aggression, illness or distress.

Leashes and Pet Care
Pets must remain on a secure leash or in an appropriate carrier and under their handler’s control at all times. I will provide water, clean up after my pet and maintain a safe distance from other animals. I will ask permission before allowing my pet to approach another animal or person.

Costume Safety
Costumes must allow pets to breathe, see and move comfortably. Outfits may not contain sharp objects, hazardous materials or decorations that could cause choking. I will remove the costume or withdraw my pet if they show discomfort or distress.

Event Instructions
I will follow check-in instructions, designated walking routes and reasonable directions from event staff. Organizers may adjust, postpone or cancel the show because of weather, safety concerns or other circumstances affecting the event.

Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation involves risks, including bites, scratches, falls, entanglement in leashes, unpredictable animal behavior, exposure to illness, crowds and weather. These risks may result in injury to me or my pet, escape or loss of my pet, or property damage. I voluntarily accept the risks associated with participation, subject to the limitations below.

Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, I release the City of Oxford, The Cathy Anna Collective, and their respective officials, officers, employees, agents and volunteers acting in connection with the show from my claims for personal injury, injury to or loss of my pet, and property damage arising from my participation, including claims caused by a released party’s ordinary negligence.

This release does not apply to gross negligence, willful or wanton misconduct, intentional wrongdoing, or rights and liabilities that cannot legally be waived. I am releasing only my own claims; I do not purport to waive a minor’s independent legal claims.

Owner Responsibility and Agreement
I remain responsible for controlling and caring for my pet and for any injury or damage for which I am legally responsible. I will promptly report any incident to event staff. I have read these terms, understand that the liability release limits certain legal rights, and agree voluntarily.
