This Market Vendor Application applies to vendors who sell handmade, homemade, or homegrown products, craftsman, creator, art, clothing, jewelry, cottage vendors and bakeries (non-temperature controlled), toys, non-profits, etc.

IMPORTANT: Vendors are responsible for providing their own tent, tent weights (NO STAKES ALLOWED), table, and chairs. 


*Booth fees are NOT DUE at the time of application. If your application is approved, the card on-file will automatically be charged. Booth fees are non-refundable. No exceptions.

Join us for a new event series coming to Abilene - the Cypress Plaza Downtown Market. We're kicking off a monthly tradition, with new seasonal themes and experiences throughout the year. Shop a curated lineup of local makers, boutiques, artists, and small businesses, grab something delicious from local food trucks, enjoy live music, and let the kids get in on the fun with seasonal activities. Terms & Conditions

Vendor Eligibility & Legal Compliance
These Terms and Conditions apply to all market vendors (non-food vendors) participating in events with No Surprises Events & Design, LLC. Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to the sale or display of goods and services. Vendors selling taxable items must maintain a valid Texas Sales and Use Tax Permit and be prepared to present it upon request during the event.


Booth Setup & Equipment
Unless otherwise stated, vendors must provide all equipment necessary to operate their booth, including tents, tables, chairs, displays, lighting, and extension cords. Electrical service must be requested in advance and is limited and not guaranteed. Vendors will receive load-in and load-out instructions in the Event Packet and must adhere strictly to assigned setup and teardown times. Vendors arriving outside designated windows may be denied entry and will forfeit all fees paid.


Booth Appearance & Professional Conduct
All booths must be clean, organized, and professional in appearance. Displays and signage must be appropriate for a family-friendly audience. No Surprises Events & Design, LLC reserves the right to require modifications or remove any booth deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or inconsistent with event standards, without refund. Vendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times. Harassment, aggressive behavior, or misconduct toward attendees, staff, volunteers, or other vendors will result in immediate removal from the event without refund.


Prohibited Sales & Activities
Market vendors may not sell or distribute food or beverages unless explicit written approval is granted by No Surprises Events & Design, LLC. The sale or promotion of alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, or other regulated items is strictly prohibited.


Fire & Safety Requirements
Vendors utilizing candles, heating elements, open flames, or other potentially hazardous materials must comply with all local fire and safety regulations. Booths using heat sources are required to have an approved fire extinguisher readily available at all times. The Festival Director and venue management reserve the right to shut down any booth that poses a safety concern.


Insurance Requirements
Vendors may be required to carry general liability insurance and, if requested, must list No Surprises Events & Design, LLC as additional insured. Vendors will be notified in advance if proof of insurance is required.


Clean-Up Responsibilities
Each vendor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within their booth area throughout the event and for leaving the space clean and free of debris during teardown. All trash must be disposed of in designated receptacles. Vendors who fail to leave their space in acceptable condition may be assessed a $150 cleaning fee.


Event Changes, Cancellation & Force Majeure
If any event is postponed, modified, or canceled due to circumstances beyond the control of the organizers, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government mandates, or emergencies, no refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued under any circumstances.


Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk
All vendors, sponsors, staff, volunteers, and participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with participation in the event. Vendors agree to release and hold harmless No Surprises Events & Design, LLC, affiliated partners, sponsors, and governing entities from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from participation in the event, including those resulting from negligence.


Booth Assignment & Event Modifications
Booth locations are assigned at the discretion of No Surprises Events & Design, LLC and may be adjusted due to operational or safety needs. Vendors acknowledge that booth placement is not guaranteed and may change prior to or during the event.


Photography & Marketing Use
Vendors grant permission for photographs and video recordings of themselves, their staff, and their booth to be taken during the event and used for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes across all media platforms, including digital, print, and social media, without compensation.


Application & Payment Terms
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance or booth placement. Vendor space is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment of the vendor invoice. Failure to submit payment will result in no booth being assigned. A digital signature and payment constitute a legally binding agreement to all terms and conditions stated herein.
