Holiday in the Park 2026 – Community Stage Performers

Holiday in the Park’s Community Stage celebrates the incredible talent, creativity, and community spirit of Burbank and the surrounding area as part of Magnolia Park’s annual Holiday in the Park celebration.

We’re looking for choirs, dance troupes, school and youth groups, carolers, community organizations, cultural groups, and other local performers interested in taking the Community Stage during Holiday in the Park on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The Community Stage is designed to showcase performers of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re part of a school ensemble, neighborhood dance studio, community choir, cultural organization, youth group, or another group that would love the opportunity to perform for the community, we’d love to hear from you.

Holiday in the Park is a large, free community celebration that takes place along Magnolia Boulevard and attracts visitors of all ages. Performances should be appropriate for a public, all-ages environment.

This is a curated performance opportunity, but professional performance experience is not required. Applicants will be asked to tell us about their group, what they would like to perform, approximately how many people will participate, their availability, and any basic technical or staging needs. If you have photos, video, or other examples of your group performing, we welcome them, but polished professional materials are not necessary.

Selection and scheduling will be based on the proposed performance, fit with Holiday in the Park, available performance times, technical and staging considerations, and our goal of creating a fun and varied Community Stage program.

Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, and selected performers are not guaranteed a particular performance time or set length. Final scheduling will be determined by the Holiday in the Park programming team.

If you are a band, musician, or other live music act seeking a traditional concert-stage performance, please apply for our Main Stage instead.

Community Stage Performer Terms & Conditions

By submitting this application and accepting a performance opportunity on the Holiday in the Park Community Stage, the performer or participating group agrees to the following:

1. Performance & Participation
Holiday in the Park will take place on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM in Magnolia Park, Burbank.

Selected performers and groups will be assigned a performance time and will receive additional information regarding arrival, check-in, setup, performance, and departure prior to the event.

Performers must arrive by their assigned call time and be ready to perform at the scheduled time. Because the Community Stage features multiple groups throughout the event, performances must begin and end within the time allotted. Performers may not extend their performance beyond their assigned time without approval from the stage manager or event organizers.

2. Selection & Scheduling
Submission of an application does not guarantee selection for the Community Stage. Performers will be selected based on factors including the proposed performance, overall program needs, available performance times, technical and staging requirements, and fit with Holiday in the Park.

Professional performance experience is not required.

Selection does not guarantee a particular performance time, set length, or position in the program. Magnolia Park Events reserves the right to determine and modify the performance schedule as necessary.

3. Participating Performers & Groups
The application should accurately represent the performer or group that will appear at Holiday in the Park, including the approximate number of participants and the nature of the proposed performance.

Significant changes to the size of the group, type of performance, or proposed program after acceptance should be communicated to Magnolia Park Events in advance.

Each participating group must designate an adult primary contact who will be responsible for communicating with event organizers and coordinating the group on event day.

4. Technical & Staging Requirements
Performers should provide accurate information in their application regarding microphones, music or audio playback, instruments, electrical needs, stage space, props, and other technical or staging requirements.

Stage equipment and production capabilities are limited. Magnolia Park Events will provide selected performers with information regarding available sound, staging, electrical, and production equipment prior to the event.

Performers should not assume that specialized equipment, instruments, props, playback devices, or other production equipment will be provided unless specifically confirmed by event organizers.

Groups are not expected to provide professional stage plots or technical riders. If your performance has unusual staging, audio, electrical, space, or setup requirements, please describe them as clearly as possible in your application.

All performer-provided equipment and props must be safe, stable, and appropriate for use at a crowded public event.

5. Performance Content
Holiday in the Park is a public, all-ages community event attended by adults, families, and children. Performers should take the setting and audience into consideration when planning their performance.

Performances must comply with applicable laws and event safety requirements. Magnolia Park Events reserves the right to address performance content or conduct that is unsafe, unlawful, substantially different from what was proposed and approved, or reasonably inappropriate for the setting of an all-ages public community event.

The intent of this provision is not to restrict artistic expression, but to recognize the public, all-ages setting in which Holiday in the Park takes place.

6. Performer Equipment & Personal Property
Participating performers and groups are responsible for their own instruments, costumes, props, equipment, and personal property except for equipment specifically confirmed as being provided by the event.

Magnolia Park Events, Holiday in the Park, the City of Burbank, event sponsors, property owners, and participating partners are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to performer-owned equipment or personal property before, during, or after the event.

7. Photography, Video & Promotion
Performers acknowledge that photography and video recording will take place throughout Holiday in the Park.

Performers grant Magnolia Park Events and its event partners permission to photograph and record their Holiday in the Park performance and to use photographs, video clips, and recordings from the event for documentation, publicity, social media, and promotion of Holiday in the Park and related community programs.

This permission does not transfer ownership of the performers' underlying music, choreography, routines, or other intellectual property to Magnolia Park Events or any event partner.

8. Minors & Group Supervision
Performers under the age of 18 are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Community Stage.

Groups that include minors must provide appropriate adult supervision and are responsible for obtaining any parent or legal guardian permissions necessary for their members to participate in the event.

Magnolia Park Events and Holiday in the Park do not assume responsibility for supervising minors before, during, or after a performance. Parents, guardians, teachers, directors, coaches, group leaders, or other designated responsible adults must remain responsible for the supervision of minors participating with their group.

9. Accessibility & Accommodations
Magnolia Park Events welcomes performers with disabilities and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate accessibility needs related to participation on the Community Stage.

Applicants are encouraged to identify any requested accommodations in the appropriate section of the application so organizers can plan accordingly. Requests for accessibility accommodations will not be considered as part of the selection process.

10. Event Changes or Cancellation
Holiday in the Park is an outdoor public event. Magnolia Park Events reserves the right to modify performance times, performance lengths, stage arrangements, technical arrangements, or other event details when reasonably necessary due to weather, safety concerns, government requirements, production needs, emergencies, schedule changes, or circumstances beyond the organizers' control.

Magnolia Park Events also reserves the right to postpone, suspend, or cancel all or part of the event or a performance when circumstances make it necessary or impractical to proceed.

11. Compliance with Event & Stage Instructions
Selected performers and groups agree to follow reasonable instructions from event organizers, stage managers, production personnel, and public-safety personnel regarding arrival, check-in, staging, setup, sound levels, stage access, performance timing, safety, departure, and other event operations.

Groups are responsible for keeping their participants together and ready when their scheduled performance approaches and for promptly clearing the stage and surrounding performance area when their performance concludes.

Failure to follow reasonable event or safety requirements may result in modification or cancellation of a performance.

12. Acceptance of Terms
By signing below, the applicant confirms that they are authorized to submit the application on behalf of the performer or participating group, that the information provided in the application is accurate, and that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
