About the application

New and recurring vendors need to reapply EVERY year. Being approved as a vendor for the OCC Craft Fair does NOT guarantee you will get booth space.

If you are denied as a vendor, you will receive a response explaining why. We do not take denying vendors lightly. Some of the most common reasons that cause vendors to be declined are:
Selling non-crafted/non-handmade art or items. Things like MLM's, resellers, insurance agents, AI generated art, etc.
Selling any form of food or consumable like tinctures, tea, candy, honey, pickles, popcorn, etc.
Previous instances of consistent policy/rule violations.
Previous behavioral issues.
ONLY include primary contact information relating to you and your business. It is assumed that all contact information entered belongs to the primary individual who runs the business.

This application form will remain open until September of 2026.

Any applications submitted after March 2026 may be added to our waitlist as this event books quickly

We are NOT the Old Colorado City Farmers Market, which is located in Bancroft Park. Our market is their neighbor

3. APPLICATION PROCESS
All vendors, returning and new, must complete the application process for each year. OCCCF reserves the right to deny a vendor application, prohibit anyone from selling and/or prohibit any product from being sold at the craft fair. Applications are open to all from February-September. All vendors must go through the following application process to be eligible to join the craft fair:

Submit an online Vendor Application on the OCCCF website.
The OCCCF typically begins accepting vendor applications for the year in February and closes in September
Have the application approved by the coordinator.
Agree to and have a clear understanding of OCCCF Rules and Regulations set forth in this document.
Approved vendors will have access to email updates about signups and other relevant market information.
Submit an interest form for booth dates.
This form typically opens in March

Submitting this form is NOT a guarantee of booth space or dates
Pay for their space promptly via either invoice or payment form.
**Booths and dates vending are not guaranteed until payment has been received.

4. WAITLIST PROCESS
Due to a high volume of applications and limited booth space, this market is typically fully booked before the start of the season. Only approved vendors have the option to be added to the waitlist. Applications for new vendors are open February - September. To apply click here.

The waitlist is a way to be notified about any openings during the market season. To sign up for the waitlist, please select “Yes” when filling out the Booth Interest Form.

Weekly emails will be sent to those on the waitlist during the market season if any spots open. Add the OCCCF email to your contact list to avoid going to spam.
occcraftfair2026@gmail.com
Do NOT email or contact the coordinator about openings outside of the waitlist email. No email means no openings.
Some openings occur the morning of a market day. Calls for last minute waitlisters can occur as early as 6am and will be sent out via email or text. By selecting yes to be added to the waitlist, you agree to be contacted via text in the early morning on some occasions.
Vendors approved for last minute openings must pay their invoice before they are allowed to set up.
These vendors will not be considered late and not required to be fully set up by 8am. Parking may be full after 8am.
The waitlist is first come first serve (as long as the vendor and product type don’t conflict with neighboring booths)
You are NOT considered a vendor until approved by the coordinator AND payment has been received. Failure to pay in a timely manner will result in the opening being given to the next vendor.
Vendors who show up without a scheduled date or approval from the waitlist will be turned away and may be removed from the OCC Craft Fair vendor list.

13. RESERVED DATE ADDITIONS OR CANCELLATIONS
When selling at OCCCF, vendors are operating as small businesses. The strength of any craft fair depends on the presence of vendors and a diversity of products. As with any business, customers must be able to count on vendors being present at the craft fair. Consistent goods and product availability means consistent customers shopping for those goods and products.  Continuity and reliability are critical to sales in addition to gaining a regular customer base.

SPACE CANCELLATION POLICY
From June 7th - October 11th vendors will NOT receive a refund for any reason. If you need to cancel, we will attempt to reschedule you to another date during the current season (if spaces allow). There is no guarantee you will be rescheduled.
DATE CHANGE AND CANCELLATION PROCESS
There are no refunds for cancellations after May 24th, 2025
Cancellations should be sent to the coordinator via email and/or text/call. Email is preferred. The sooner you reach out the better.
Email: occcraftfair2026@gmail.com
Phone number: Nicoe will give this out to approved vendors only
No call, no show may result in your removal from the craft fair. During the season there are NO REFUNDS, even in the case of removal.
Vendors are expected to check their invoice for their scheduled dates before arriving to set up. Vendors who show up without a scheduled date or a space from the waitlist will be turned away and may be removed from the OCC Craft Fair vendor list.

14. WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY
OCCCF is a rain, snow or shine craft fair. We will not cancel a craft fair due to weather unless we determine that it will be unsafe for vendors and attendees. Vendors will forfeit their space fees if they choose not to participate because of weather. Space fees will be applied to an alternate date ONLY if the craft fair does not open because of unsafe weather conditions.

15. CRAFT FAIR SAFETY AND SECURITY
Below are some basic precautions everyone can take to maximize safety and security.

CRAFT FAIR SAFETY
Vendors are responsible for ensuring that canopies are adequately weighted to prevent movement in wind and inclement weather. (if the wind picks up and you do not have weights, we will ask you to take down your canopy)
The most common weight range per canopy leg is 25-50lbs.
The OCC Craft Fair and the OCC History Center are not responsible for damages, lost property, or injury related to vendor negligence.
Vendors are liable for any injuries, damages, or loss caused by their displays, products, set up, or services.
General liability insurance covers vendors in these situations and is readily available from insurance companies.
Be alert. Know your surroundings and who or what should or should not be there.
Trust your instincts. Never enter a situation where you feel unsafe.
If you feel unsafe, reach out to the vendors around you and the coordinator for help. The coordinator is available via text during the market.
If a situation or person becomes dangerous, get to a safe place, call 911, and notify the coordinator about the situation.
Do not make judgments about what may or may not be a serious situation and do not assume that someone else is handling it or has called the police. Safety and security are everyone’s responsibility.
If you feel uncomfortable talking to a suspicious person or if your suspicions continue after making contact, report the situation to the coordinator. If you are alone at your booth and do not feel comfortable stepping away, please ask a neighbor to assist you in alerting the coordinator or reach out by phone
BOOTH SECURITY
Never leave your booth unattended. If one person is operating your booth at the craft fair, ask an adjacent vendor to keep an eye on things while you are away. Keep in mind, they are also working and engaging with customers, so be sure to lock up valuables such as tablets, smartphones, credit card swipers, and your cash box before you leave. If available, the coordinator can assist.
Keeping your property organized during the event makes it easier to notice if something is wrong or out of place.
Greet each customer. Establish eye contact and remember their general appearance. Good customer service can discourage thieves. This attention to detail conveys control and puts people on notice that they have been observed and can be identified later.
It is also important to consider security outside of your booth. Always lock your vehicle and do not leave items in plain view inside your vehicle.

16. DISCIPLINE OR REMOVAL OF AN APPROVED VENDOR
A vendor may be removed or suspended from the craft fair at the discretion of the coordinator at any time. Vendors who are in violation of any federal, state, local or OCCCF Rules and Regulations will be subject to the following:

Whenever the coordinator believes a vendor has violated any of the OCCCF Rules or Regulations, the vendor can expect a verbal or written warning or may be removed from the vendor list and barred from all future OCC Craft Fair events.
Depending on the severity of any violation, these warnings or removals may be permanent or seasonal.
Removal of a vendor is at the discretion of the coordinator.
The coordinator may also refer the matter to a governmental agency with jurisdiction over the subject at issue.
Reading and understanding these rules and regulations is required of all vendors. By vending at the OCC Craft Fair, you agree to all terms stated above.
Failure to read and understand these rules and regulations may result in removal from the OCC Craft Fair.
