Returning bigger and better than ever, 2027 will not disappoint with an incredible collection of hand-curated vendors, thrilling stage shows, a full collaborative haunted house experience, a hearse and spooky car show, a food truck rally, costume contests, and even more exciting attractions still to be announced.
Whether you're a haunted attraction enthusiast, horror fan, Halloween collector, or simply looking for a unique family-friendly weekend experience, Halfway to Halloween Expo has something for everyone.

Halfway to Halloween Expo is held annually on Friday and Saturday of Mother's Day weekend.

HALFWAY TO HALLOWEEN EXPO 2027
Food Truck Participation Agreement
Event Location: 5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Road, Ann Arbor, MI
Event Dates:
Friday, May 7, 2027: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturday, May 8, 2027: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
This agreement is entered into between Halfway to Halloween Expo ("Event Organizer") and ("Food Truck Vendor").
By signing this agreement, the Food Truck Vendor agrees to all terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Participation Requirements
Participation on both Friday and Saturday is mandatory. Food trucks are expected to operate for the entire duration of the event on both days.
Food Truck Vendors must remain open, staffed, and ready to serve from opening until closing each day.
Event hours are:
Friday, May 7, 2027: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturday, May 8, 2027: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Food Truck Vendors are required to be parked, fully set up, and ready to serve no later than one (1) hour prior to opening each day.
Required readiness times:
Friday: 6:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM

2. Early Departure Policy
Food trucks are required to remain operational for the entire duration of each event day.
Leaving early without prior approval from Event Organizers is strictly prohibited.
Food Truck Vendors who leave before the scheduled closing time without approval will immediately forfeit eligibility to participate in any future Halfway to Halloween Expo events.
Exceptions may only be granted in emergency situations and must be approved by Event Organizers.

3. Volunteer Meal Requirement
As part of participation, each Food Truck Vendor agrees to provide ten (10) complimentary meals to event volunteers.
Event volunteers will be issued official food tickets redeemable at participating food trucks.
If more than ten (10) volunteer meal tickets are redeemed at your food truck, the Event Organizer agrees to compensate the Food Truck Vendor at a rate of $15.00 per additional redeemed ticket.
Compensation for redeemed tickets exceeding ten (10) meals will be distributed at the conclusion of the event on Saturday, May 8, 2027.
Only official event-issued food tickets will be accepted for reimbursement.

4. Electrical Service
Overnight electricity is available for an additional fee.
Food Truck Vendors requesting electrical service must notify Event Organizers in advance.
Food Truck Vendors are responsible for supplying their own heavy-duty extension cords.
A minimum extension cord length of 100 feet is strongly recommended.
The Event Organizer is not responsible for electrical issues caused by improper equipment, overloaded circuits, inadequate extension cords, or equipment failure.

5. Licenses, Permits, and Insurance
Food Truck Vendors are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required:
Food service licenses
Health department permits
Fire safety permits
Business licenses
Insurance coverage required by local, county, and state regulations
Food Truck Vendors agree to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and health department requirements.
Proof of insurance may be requested at any time and must be provided upon request.

6. Space Assignments
Food truck placement is determined exclusively by Event Organizers.
Placement requests may be considered but are not guaranteed.
Event Organizers reserve the right to relocate any food truck if necessary for event operations, safety, or crowd flow.

7. Safety Requirements
Food Truck Vendors are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and professional operation at all times.
Each Food Truck Vendor must:
Keep their assigned area clean and free of debris.
Properly dispose of all grease, oil, wastewater, and trash.
Keep all service areas unobstructed.
Comply with all fire and safety regulations.
Any vendor creating unsafe conditions may be required to correct the issue immediately or may be removed from the event without refund.

8. Liability Release
The Food Truck Vendor agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Halfway to Halloween Expo, event organizers, staff, volunteers, property owners, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, injuries, liabilities, expenses, or legal actions arising from participation in the event.
Participation is at the Food Truck Vendor's own risk.
The Event Organizer is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

9. Cancellation Policy
If a Food Truck Vendor must cancel participation, written notice must be provided to Event Organizers as soon as possible.
Failure to appear without notice may affect eligibility for future events.
Any fees paid are non-refundable unless otherwise approved by Event Organizers.

10. Agreement Acceptance
By submitting payment the Food Truck Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by all terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

| Food Trucks up to 24 feet long | $250.00 | Non-refundable | Food Truck space is located outdoors, and trucks will be parked in a line in front of the vendor barns. |
| Food / Drink Vendor - No Truck | $150.00 | Non-refundable | Food and Drink vendor spaces are 10ft x 10ft, and are located outside. Price includes electricity for duration of event, overnight electricity available for a fee. Extension cords are required for access to power. Extension cords are not provided, and are the responsibility of the vendor. |
