Thursday, Oct 1st Quick Paint: 10am-1pm, Purchase Award, location selected by sponsor (information to come)

Friday, Oct 2nd Quick Paint: 3pm-6pm, Purchase Award, location selected by sponsor (information to come)

Saturday, Oct 3rd 10am-4:30pm,Judging, Awards and Sales 5pm

Participation Details:

· Who Can Participate: Artists of all skill levels

· Registration: Ongoing

· Pre registration Fee: $35

· Event Day Registration: $45

· Plein Air Liberty participants will be given more information about the purchase award locations at the event.

· Participants will be able to submit up to three pieces for consideration for best of show.

· All paintings that are considered for cash or purchase prizes must be wired and hung by 4:45pm.

Awards:

· Cash Awards: 

 Best of Show $500 1st: $250 2nd: $150 3rd: $100

· (3)Purchase prizes selected by sponsors

To be eligible for prizes you must register and be stamped each day of the event. By registering you agree to sell anything entered in the awards process. You are not required to enter all paintings completed on the day of the event. Paintings may be sold from your easel anytime during the event. If a painting is sold in advance, it will not be eligible for the Purchase Award or Cash competition. All paintings must be created within the boundaries set out each day.

By participating in this event you agree to the following; Liberty Plein Air 2026 is provided with no special warranty either expressed or implied. The organizers, including but not limited to the event volunteers and The Artisan Market assume no liability for any loss, theft, damage or injury to property or persons whether arising in contract, negligence, equity or otherwise. Participation in the event is considered "at your own risk." All participants must use due care under the circumstances to comply with all rules regulations, statutes and laws of the state of Missouri and the City of Liberty.  

*Young Artists (10 to 17 yrs old)  must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parent or guardian must complete and sign the application.
