An Invitation to Inspire Through Storytelling

FusionFest is thrilled to invite you a brand-new feature for 2026 – the Authors Showcase at our Global Exchange Bookshelf!

We’re inviting authors from all cultural backgrounds to submit books that reflect the richness of identity, heritage, biography, empowerment, and inspiration. This is a unique opportunity to share your story with a diverse and curious audience in a space that celebrates human connection. (Please note: political content will not be included.)

Your book could be featured on our Global Exchange Bookshelf, where festival goers will engage with your words and connect with you as a storyteller. This is your chance to reach future readers and spark meaningful dialogue in a truly global setting.

In addition, a select number of authors will be invited to speak at the Global Exchange Tent during the festival, sharing insights, experiences, and inspiration in live conversations with our audience.

LIABILITY AND PHOTO RELEASE

I (or my child/ren) am voluntarily participating in the program, class, or event listed above. In consideration of this opportunity, I voluntarily waive, release, indemnify, and hold harmless Orange County and FusionFest, Inc., along with their officers and employees, from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, injuries, losses, and expenses—including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs—arising from or in connection with participation in this program, class, or event. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, death, or property damage.

If this registration is for my minor child/ren, I hereby consent to emergency treatment and transportation for any medical condition that may arise during or as a result of participation. I understand that I am responsible for all associated costs.

Furthermore, I grant permission to Orange County and FusionFest, Inc. to use any photographs taken by their officers, employees, or agents of myself or my child/ren during participation. These photographs shall be the property of Orange County or FusionFest, Inc., and I understand that I am not entitled to any compensation for their use.

I agree to comply with all County, State, and Federal ordinances, rules, and regulations. I acknowledge that Orange County and FusionFest, Inc. reserve the right to change fees and requirements as necessary. This release shall remain in effect until canceled in writing.

Please read this form carefully. By signing, you acknowledge that, even if Orange County or FusionFest, Inc. exercises reasonable care in providing this activity, there are inherent risks that cannot be avoided. As a result, your child may be seriously injured or even killed by participating.

By signing this form, you are waiving both your own and your child’s right to seek legal recovery from Orange County or FusionFest, Inc. for any personal injury, including death, or property damage resulting from the natural risks of this activity.

You have the right to refuse to sign this form. However, Orange County and FusionFest, Inc. also have the right to deny participation if this form is not signed.
