Newberry Oktoberfest 2026 Community Corner Application (App Period One)

EVENT DATES:

October 3, 10am-6pm (Oktoberfest) - ALL ORGANIZATIONS MUST STAY FOR THE DURATION OF SATURDAY'S EVENT.

GUIDELINES:

• Limited booth spaces are available for $100 (10x10 ft. tent). Double spaces will not be sold.
• Each space is provided a 10 x 10 ft. TENT.
• CHAIRS, and TABLES are NOT PROVIDED. Electricity is NOT AVAILABLE and generators are NOT ALLOWED.
• Tents will be placed prior to vendor arrival. Our staff cannot assist vendors in unpacking and setting up their displays; please make the necessary preparations to set up your booth.

APPLICATION DETAILS:

• Applications will be processed in two periods for ease of review and approval. You are currently applying in Period One.
• Application Period One: May 22-June 22
  • Approvals/rejections will be sent by July 3 at 11:59pm.
  • Approved vendors will be charged the full vendor fee on July 8 by 11:59pm.
• Application Period Two: June 23-July 24Approvals/rejections will be sent by August 5 at 11:59pm.
  • Approved vendors will be charged the full vendor fee on August 10 by 11:59pm.
  • Applicants will receive a response when their application has been received.
• If you do not receive a response within one week, please contact the event organizer to ensure your submission was successful.
• Approved vendors will be sent a welcome packet with arrival details and a map of their booth location prior to the event.

RESCHEDULE DATE:

• If an act of God forces the rescheduling of Oktoberfest, all approved vendors are expected to attend the rescheduled Oktoberfest Event date of October 24, 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm and NO refunds or credits will be issued to vendors.

SUBMISSION OF THIS APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE GRANTED A SPACE. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A COMMUNITY CORNER booth is only available to the following organizations operating out of or serving Newberry County: churches, civic organizations, non-profits, or health/wellness organizations.
• Community Corner booths are intended for organizations to distribute community information, host bake sales, fundraise, etc. If you are unsure whether you qualify for a Community Corner booth please contact our staff at newberryfestivals@cityofnewberry.com OR (803) 276-1800.
  
  • NOTE: Organizations may NOT sell on or off-site cooked hot foods or foods that are considered Time/Temperature Control per SCDA regulations.

TAXES & LICENSES:

• Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting SC and local sales tax as required by law.
• Vendors are responsible for obtaining a proper SC retail license from SCDOR.

NOTICE:

• City of Newberry Parks, Recreation, & Tourism reserves the right to accept or reject any application. We also reserve the right to remove any vendor that does not follow the policies established for this event.
