Become a Food/Beverage Mobile Truck Vendor at the 45th Annual Christmas Stroll!

 

For 45 years, the Georgetown Christmas Stroll has welcomed families, friends, and visitors to Historic Downtown Georgetown to celebrate the holiday season and support local businesses.

 

This year, the Downtown Georgetown Association invites you to be part of Hometown Christmas Stroll: A Season to Gather—a FREE three-day holiday tradition that transforms Downtown Georgetown into one of Central Texas' premier holiday shopping and entertainment destinations.

 

As a participating vendor, you can expect a festive, high-energy atmosphere filled with holiday décor, live entertainment, family activities, food and beverage offerings, and thousands of shoppers looking for unique gifts and seasonal experiences. With more than 72,000 attendees in 2025, Christmas Stroll provides an exceptional opportunity to showcase your products, connect with customers, build brand awareness, and be part of a beloved community tradition.

 

Throughout the weekend, guests will enjoy the Christmas Parade, Santa's Village, holiday concerts, dancing with the Grinch, family activities, charming downtown storefronts, and over 200 artisan and boutique vendors.

Visitors come ready to shop, explore, dine, and create lasting holiday memories.

 

At its heart, Hometown Christmas Stroll: A Season to Gather is about bringing people together through community, commerce, and holiday traditions. We look forward to partnering with vendors who help create a welcoming, memorable experience for our guests while showcasing the creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit that make this event so special.

Friday, December 4: 4PM–9:30PM (5.5 hours)
Saturday, December 5: 10AM–9:30PM (11.5 hours)
Sunday, December 6: 10AM–4PM (6 hours)

Total Selling Time: 23 hours of prime sales opportunities!

 

2026 EVENT BOOTH FEES:

 

  • Food Trucks - Electricity Provided by DGA: $1175 + $25 application fee = $1200 + credit card processing fees

 

  • Food Trucks w/Self-provided Silent Generator: $1100 + $25 application fee = $1125.00 + credit card processing fees

Nonprofit Policy: While we value the important work of nonprofit and community organizations, the Downtown Georgetown Association's mission and event programming are commerce-driven and focused on supporting small businesses and economic vitality in Downtown Georgetown. Therefore, nonprofit organizations are not eligible to participate as vendors at Georgetown Christmas Stroll.

 

Vendor Tips for a Successful Stroll:

  • Bring your most creative Christmas-themed decorations!
  • Offer exclusive event specials or limited-edition products to attract shoppers.
  • Prepare for Texas winter weather – December can be chilly and unpredictable!
     
    FOOD VENDORS:
    THE REQUIRED UPLOADS MAY BE UPLOADED DURING CREATION OF YOUR APPLICATION OR YOU MAY RETURN TO YOUR APPLICATION AND UPLOAD AT A LATER DATE BUT MUST BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. ALL FOOD CATEGORIES BELOW MUST UPLOAD FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATE.

FOOD/BEVERAGE TRUCK VENDOR:

  • UPLOAD to your Application: Annual Mobile Food Permit or a Temporary Food Event Permit.
  • Vendors under a Mobile Food Permit must operate only from their permitted mobile unit and may not set up any storage, preparation, or service outside of that unit without obtaining a Temporary Food Event Permit.
  • Vendors are encouraged to obtain a Mobile Permit, as this permit allows participation in events for one year from the date of issuance.
  • UPLOAD to your application permit from the Williamson County and Cities Health Department to complete your application: www.wcchd.org
  • UPLOAD to your application: Certificate of Insurance showing proof of liability coverage by August 26, 2026. (Coverage must include a minimum of $1,000,000 general liability and products completed. Downtown Georgetown Association, 116 W. 8th #109 Georgetown, TX 78626 must be listed as ‘additional insured’ through the event date.)
  • UPLOAD to your Application: Vendors must submit the City of Georgetown Fire permit 2 weeks prior to the Christmas Stroll event.
  • Vendors must pass the onsite day-of fire inspection by City of Georgetown Fire Department.

FOOD/BEVERAGE TENT VENDOR:

  • UPLOAD Temporary Food Event Permit for the entire event duration to do more extensive onsite preparation and service. Food Vendors are subject to all TEMPORARY EVENT FOOD BOOTH SET UP REQUIREMENTS.
  • UPLOAD to your application permit from the Williamson County and Cities Health Department to complete your application: www.wcchd.org
  • UPLOAD to your application: Certificate of Insurance showing proof of liability coverage by August 26, 2026. (Coverage must include a minimum of $1,000,000 general liability and products completed. Downtown Georgetown Association, 116 W. 8th #109 Georgetown, TX 78626 must be listed as ‘additional insured’ through the event date.)
  • Vendors must pass the onsite day-of fire inspection by City of Georgetown Fire Department.

FOOD/BEVERAGE TENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Vendors are responsible for providing and setting up all booth equipment, including WiFi or cellular service for point-of-sale transactions, tables, chairs, a mobile battery-operated power source (generators are prohibited), bright LED lighting for evening shopping hours, a tent with four (4) sidewalls, and a minimum of fifty (50) pounds of weight securely attached to each tent leg.
  • All food tent vendors preparing, handling, serving, or sampling food must have a handwashing station within their booth that complies with Williamson County and City of Georgetown health regulations. Handwashing stations must be fully operational and available throughout all event hours.
  • The Williamson County Health Department will be onsite during the event conducting health inspections, and vendors are responsible for meeting all health and safety requirements.

Friday, December 4: Stroll Kickoff Celebration 4:00pm - 9:30pm • Kickoff Celebration: Gather with family and friends as Historic Downtown Georgetown comes alive with the grand illumination of thousands of holiday lights, festive music, and the joyful spirit of the season. It's the perfect way to kick off your Christmas. • Dancing with the Grinch & Concert: Dance, laugh, and capture festive photos with the Grinch before enjoying a local live music and evening concert that fills the Square with Christmas cheer. • Christmas Marketplace & Food Courts: Discover over 200 artisan and boutique vendors offering handcrafted gifts, holiday décor, seasonal treats, and one-of-a-kind treasures while enjoying delicious eats from local food trucks. • Stroll the Square: Explore beautifully decorated storefronts, festive dining, cozy cafés, and the warm hospitality that make Historic Downtown Georgetown a favorite holiday destination. Saturday, December 5: A Day to Gather 10:00am - 9:30pm • Christmas Parade: Everyone’s favorite! Watch colorful floats, festive performers, and local groups march through the streets in a swirl of holiday spirit. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. • Santa’s Village, Whoo Hair & Face Painting: Visit Santa for memorable family photos, enjoy whimsical Whoo Hair makeovers, and let little ones become part of the holiday fun with festive face painting. • Holiday Shopping & Food Courts: Spend the day browsing more than 200 artisan vendors, exploring locally owned boutiques, enjoying delicious food trucks, dining at downtown restaurants, and treating yourself to seasonal favorites throughout the Square. • Family Activities: Explore Kids Zone offering games, treats, and crafts for all ages. This special area is filled with games, interactive crafts, rock wall, obstacle course, designed to delight kids and families alike. • Snow in the Park: Experience the excitement of real falling snow in the heart of Downtown Georgetown! TERMS & AGREEMENT
By submitting this application, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to abide by all vendor policies, including:

  • I understand that the Christmas Stroll is a rain-or-shine event and that no refunds or credits will be issued for any reason, including inclement weather.
  • I am responsible for providing WiFi or cellular service for point-of-sale transactions and bright LED lighting for evening shopping hours
  • I agree to keep my truck/trailer/booth staffed and open for business during all published event hours.
  • I understand that if I sell out of food or beverage, closing my truck/trailer/booth is prohibited. I agree to remain onsite and continue engaging with event attendees through the conclusion of event hours.
  • I understand that early departure is strictly prohibited and may affect my eligibility for future Downtown Georgetown Association events.
  • I agree to comply with all event rules, safety requirements, load-in/load-out procedures, and directions provided by Downtown Georgetown Association staff.
  • I understand that all sales, transactions, tax collection, permits, licenses, inventory, and customer interactions are solely my responsibility.
  • I will comply with all local health and safety regulations.
  • I release and hold harmless the Downtown Georgetown Association, the City of Georgetown, and Williamson County from any liability, loss, or damage.
