About the application
Southern Roots Festival is currently accepting applications for food vendors to participate in our 2026 event at North Wilkesboro Speedway. This 1.5-day, community-focused festival brings together a strong mix of vendors, live music, and attendees from across the region, offering excellent exposure and sales opportunities.
We are seeking a variety of food vendors offering quality, well-prepared menu items that align with the overall experience of the festival.
All food vendors must comply with local health and safety regulations. The Wilkes County Health Department will be on-site prior to the event to conduct required inspections. Vendors are responsible for ensuring all permits, equipment, and operational standards are met.
⚠️ Requirements
- Food Trucks must fit within the assigned footprint
- Vendors must provide their own tent, setup, and necessary equipment
- Generators are permitted (must be properly maintained and safely operated)
- Vendors must be fully set up prior to opening and remain open during all festival hours
- Due to space limitations, not all applicants will be accepted
*Quiet generators are strongly encouraged to maintain a comfortable environment for guests and neighboring vendors.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
Southern Roots Festival reserves the right to approve or deny any application. Vendors will be notified of their application status once the review process is complete.
If accepted, the card on file will be charged for all applicable fees selected during the application process. All transactions include a 6% processing fee, which is shared between the festival and the applicant.
By submitting an application, you are entering into an electronic agreement and agree to the terms outlined above. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that all payment information remains accurate and up to date.
If a refund is issued, it will be returned to the card on file. Southern Roots Festival is not responsible for refunds that cannot be processed due to incorrect or outdated payment information.

| Application fees | $25.00 | Non-refundable | There is a $25 non-refundable application fee which is charged upon application. | Food Truck | $200.00 | Non-refundable | Food Truck Requirements & Policies All food truck spaces are 12’ x 24’. This measurement must include the full length of your setup—from the front bumper to the back, including any bumpers, trailers, or generator cages. All units must fit within the 24’ space. Vendors requiring additional space must purchase a second space. Food vendors are expected to remain open and serving attendees during all festival hours, from the start of the event on Friday evening through the close of the festival on Saturday. ⸻ Fees & Payment Booth fees will be charged upon approval. All transactions include a 6% processing fee, which is shared between the festival and the applicant. Please ensure that your credit card information remains accurate and up to date within your application. If a refund is issued, it will be returned to the card on file. | Food Tent | $200.00 | Non-refundable | All food tent vendors must remain within their assigned 12’ x 10’ space, including tents, equipment, and service areas. If a larger space is needed for storage or service, please purchase 2 spots. |
| Electrical Outlet | $40.00 | Non-refundable | Outlets are limited. The electrical Outlet fee will be charged upon approval. All charges have an added 6% processing fee which is split 50/50 by the Festival and you the applicant. |
