Italian Street Fest Artisan Vendor Application

Winchendon Parks & Recreation invites artisans and makers to apply for the Italian Street Fest at Winchendon Community Park, taking place Saturday, August 15 from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

This vibrant, family-friendly festival celebrates Italian culture, community, food, and music. We are seeking a variety of artisan vendors offering handcrafted goods, specialty products, and unique items that complement the lively street festival atmosphere.

This event provides a great opportunity for local makers, artists, and small businesses to showcase their work to a large and engaged community audience while enjoying a beautiful summer afternoon at the park.

Spaces are limited and applications will be reviewed to ensure a diverse and high-quality vendor market.

We welcome artisans offering items such as handmade goods, art, crafts, specialty foods, and other unique products that contribute to a festive marketplace experience.

1. Application and Acceptance
All vendors must complete the official vendor application. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be selected to ensure a diverse and balanced marketplace.

2. Vendor Fees
Vendor fees must be paid in full by the stated deadline to reserve a space. Vendor fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the Town of Winchendon.

3. Setup and Breakdown
Vendors must arrive during the designated setup window provided by event organizers. All vendors must be fully set up before the event begins at 12:00 PM. Vendors must remain open for the duration of the event and may not begin breakdown until the event concludes at 6:00 PM unless directed by event staff.

4. Vendor Space
Vendor locations will be assigned by event organizers. Vendors must remain within their assigned space and may not extend beyond their designated area.

5. Tents and Equipment
Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, chairs, and display materials. Tents must be properly secured with weights. Electricity and water are not guaranteed unless arranged in advance.

6. Permits and Licensing
Vendors are responsible for obtaining any permits or licenses required by local or state regulations related to their products.

7. Sales and Products
Vendors may only sell items approved through the application process. The sale of counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited items is strictly prohibited.

8. Conduct and Professionalism
Vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. The Town of Winchendon reserves the right to remove any vendor whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of event policies.

9. Clean-Up and Waste
Vendors must keep their area clean throughout the event and remove all materials, trash, and display items at the end of the event.

10. Weather Policy
This is a rain-or-shine outdoor event unless conditions are deemed unsafe. Vendors should come prepared for outdoor conditions.

11. Insurance
Some vendors may be required to provide proof of general liability insurance. Vendors will be notified if this applies to them.

12. Photography and Promotion
By participating in the event, vendors consent to photography and video taken during the event that may be used by the Town of Winchendon for promotional purposes.

13. Liability
The Town of Winchendon, its employees, volunteers, and partners are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vendor property. Vendors participate at their own risk.
