Italian Street Fest Food Vendors
About the application
Winchendon Parks & Recreation invites food vendors to apply for the Italian Street Fest at Winchendon Community Park, taking place Saturday, August 15 from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
This lively, family-friendly festival celebrates Italian culture with live music, community gathering, and great food. We are seeking a variety of food vendors, with a special interest in Italian cuisine, Italian-inspired dishes, and complementary food offerings such as desserts, beverages, and specialty items.
Vendors will have the opportunity to serve hundreds of attendees throughout the afternoon while being part of a vibrant community event held at the park’s amphitheater.
All vendors must comply with local health regulations and be properly permitted and insured. Space is limited, and applications will be reviewed to ensure a diverse and high-quality food selection for event attendees.

About the event
Terms & Conditions
1. Application and Approval
All vendors must complete the official vendor application. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be selected based on product type, menu variety, and overall fit with the event.
2. Vendor Fees
Vendor fees must be paid in full by the stated deadline to secure a space. Vendor fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the Town of Winchendon.
3. Setup and Breakdown
Vendors must arrive within the designated setup window provided by event organizers. All vendors must be fully set up and ready to serve by the start of the event at 12:00 PM. Vendors may not begin breakdown until the event concludes at 6:00 PM unless approved by event staff.
4. Permits and Licensing
Vendors are responsible for obtaining all required permits, licenses, and approvals required by local and state regulations. Food vendors must comply with all Board of Health requirements.
5. Insurance Requirements
Vendors must carry general liability insurance and may be required to provide a certificate of insurance listing the Town of Winchendon as an additional insured.
6. Equipment and Utilities
Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, cooking equipment, extension cords, lighting, and other operational needs unless otherwise specified. Access to electricity or water is not guaranteed unless arranged in advance.
7. Food Safety
All food vendors must comply with Massachusetts food safety regulations and any requirements of the local health department. Vendors must maintain safe food handling practices throughout the event.
8. Space Assignment
Vendor space locations will be assigned by event organizers. Vendors must operate only within their assigned space and may not expand beyond their designated area.
9. Waste and Clean-Up
Vendors are responsible for keeping their space clean during the event and must remove all trash, grease, and materials from their area at the conclusion of the event.
10. Weather Policy
This is a rain-or-shine event unless conditions are deemed unsafe by the Town of Winchendon. Vendors should be prepared for outdoor conditions.
11. Conduct
Vendors are expected to maintain professional and respectful conduct. Event organizers reserve the right to remove any vendor who violates event rules, creates unsafe conditions, or engages in disruptive behavior.
12. Photography and Promotion
By participating, vendors consent to photography and media coverage that may be used by the Town of Winchendon for promotional purposes.
13. Liability
The Town of Winchendon, its employees, volunteers, and partners are not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of vendor equipment or merchandise. Vendors participate at their own risk.
