Howl on the Green Trunk or Treat Vendor
About the registration
Do you have what it takes to be crowned Trunk or Treat Champion? Bring your most creative, spook-tacular ideas to life at Howl on the Green on Friday, October 23! This year’s theme is Mad Science - Project Zombie, so think science experiments meets zombies.
Here’s how it works:
- Decorate your trunk or set up a 10x10 tent
- Check-in by 5 PM | Set-up complete by 5:45 PM
- Trunk or Treating starts at 6pm. Entrance closes at 8pm, with booths and trucks closing at 8:30 PM.
-Candy and/or favors will be provided by the City!
Prizes include:
- Grand Prize: Halloween Swag Bag + $200 Downtown Duluth Gift Certificates
- More prizes coming soon!
Your $25 reservation fee will be reimbursed as a Downtown Duluth Gift Certificate upon check-in. Business vendors are welcome to pass out cards/merch, but fee reimbursement will not apply. Please note: this is an application for event participation. You will be contacted by a city event staff member if you are selected as a vendor. Applications will be considered based on the date received.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
All vendors must provide the following items
- One (1) 10X10 Tent with proper weights (no staking)
- or
- One (1) Standard sized vehicle with Trunk decorated
- Decorations for your Tent or Trunk
- Bucket or Bowl for Candy
The City of Duluth will supply candy to hand out from 6-8:30pm.
Approval Process: Approved applications will be selected based on the following:
- Application submission date
- Application completion
Applicants please read the following carefully:
- Applicants are not allowed to leave their booths unattended during an event. You may only be 3 feet from your booth at any given time
- Applicants are not allowed to “walk” the event to pass out marketing materials. You may give out materials if guest approach your booth
- Applicants who arrive after 5PM will not be allowed into the event and will forfeit their vendor payment for the event
- If an applicant is observed selling or giving away a product(s) that was not approved on the vendor application or by event staff, the vendor will be asked to stop selling immediately and will be considered in violation of the vendor agreement and face possible removal from the event
- All Applicants will be notified by an event attendant when it is safe to drive in the event area. Driving in the event area before the road is cleared by an event attendant is prohibited and vendor will face possible exclusion from all future events. This is a safety hazard that we expect all of our vendors to abide by
- ALL applicants must show respect to the community “our customers” and the event staff. As a participant, you are now the image of Duluth and bad behavior, violence, harassment, rude or disrespectful behavior is grounds for immediate removal from the event, loss of vendor payment and a police escort if deemed necessary.
