Before applying, please make sure your work meets the following criteria. By applying, you agree to abide by the rules, policies, and decisions of the ARToberfest Festival Committee.
- All work must be original, handcrafted work that complies with the media definitions listed in this prospectus.
- An accepted application is a commitment to show, and no refund will be made for cancellations. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Only the artists or crafters accompanying his or her original work may participate in the ARToberfest.
- Artists and crafters must exhibit for the two (2) days of the festival. Noncompliance will preclude you from being in future festivals. Artists and crafters are required to man their exhibits during festival hours.
- Commercially manufactured items (i.e., finished ceramics, jewelry, commercial molds, patterns, kits, etc. are NOT ACCEPTABLE. All items must be handcrafted by the applicant. Arts & Craft Exhibitors displaying commercial items will be asked to remove them.
- Exhibitors bear the responsibility for all setup and security needs for their exhibits. NEITHER ARToberfest, Eugenia Westbrook Fine Art, 17 Springs, nor Millbrook Chamber of Commerce–Main Street–Tourism Bureau, nor its representatives, will be responsible for loss or damage of any kind.
- Artists may only show work in categories approved by the Jury.
- All work exhibited must be of the quality and type of that shown in the juried images. ARToberfest Festival Committee reserves the right to ask an artist to remove work that does not meet this requirement.
- Artists and crafters must provide their own display booths, racks, tables, and chairs.
- NO space can be shared, but a single artist can purchase more than one 10’x10’booth space. A “multi-person” team producing a single product may qualify as a single exhibitor.
- NO on-site gas-powered generators are allowed. NO amplified music permitted.
- This is a family-oriented festival for spectators of all ages, and the work exhibited must be in keeping with this atmosphere. The festival reserves the right to remove work that it deems inappropriate.
- Sales tax of 7% (9% for food & beverage) must be collected and turned into the Chamber office by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. All checks must be made out to the Millbrook Chamber of Commerce. No Exceptions.
- NONCOMPLIANCE WITH FESTIVAL STANDARDS & RULES MAY RESULT IN ELIMINATION FROM THIS YEAR’S AND FUTURE FESTIVALS WITHOUT REFUND OF ANY FEES.
- Vendors may only purchase up to three booths per business.
- Food vendors who cook. All equipment must comply with the Alabama Department of Health. All extension cords are to be in good working condition. You must be able to operate under the standard 110 or 220 power and provide a standard 3-prong 75 ft (minimum) extension cord.
- FOOD VENDORS - ONLY TWO PLUGS WILL BE ALLOWED. BRING POWER STRIPS FOR MORE....MUST BE APPROVED. The festival committee reserves the right to require vendors to rent a cord if the condition is deemed unacceptable.
- ARToberfest, Eugenia Westbrook - Fine Art -and- 17 Springs are not responsibile for theft, loss or damage to your work or personal property, or against personal injury to you or your helpers.
- You are advised to obtain your insurance.
- The applicant agrees and releases ARToberfest - Eugenia Westbrook- Fine Art, and - 17 Springs from any damage or personal injury which he/she or helpers may sustain while participating in festival.
- If accepted you agree to the use of your images by the Eugenia Westbrook - Fine Art, - 17 Springs and - ARToberfest for promotional purposes.
- The applicant shall be responsible for the clean up of all areas used by the applicant. The removal of all food, drink, decorations, and other items brought to the facilities for the festival. And the removal or placement of all trash and debris in the appropriate recepticals.
- Smoking or tobacco use of any kind (including vaping and chewing tobacco) is prohibited in all areas.
- No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted.
- No overnight camping.
- No individual music allowed. No animals (except service animals). Failure to comply with the rules will result in being asked to leave.
Artists and crafters must confine themselves to the 10’x10’ space or must buy a second booth (Exhibits may not extend beyond 10’x10’). No boxes or chairs are allowed in the pedestrian traffic area.
Artist & crafter booths - $325 (10 ' x10')
Food & Beverage booths - $350 (10'x10')
With an indoor venue, we eliminate any risk of bad weather elements negatively affecting festival attendance. So, plan on continued sales regardless of the weather. In the event of forces of nature, no refunds will be issued.
No refund of the application fee or booth fee will be given once the exhibitor is accepted into the festival.
ARToberfest Arts & Crafts Festival 2025 - Annual Agreement
By submitting this application, the exhibitor verifies that he/she is directly involved with each piece of work to be exhibited, and that the work meets the Rules for Participation as set forth. Original works are required.
Food Vendors agree to prepare for inclement weather by bringing weights for their tents. Food Trucks and/or TENTS ARE REQUIRED.
NO REFUNDS OF APPLICATION FEES OR BOOTH FEES WILL BE GIVEN ONCE THE EXHIBITOR IS ACCEPTED TO THE FESTIVAL.
Upon acceptance, I agree to pay the entirety of my booth fee by August 3, 2025. Furthermore, I agree to report and pay Sales tax of 7% (9% for food & beverage) to be collected and turned into the Chamber-Main Street office by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. All checks must be made out to the Millbrook Chamber of Commerce. No Exceptions.
Artoberfest Arts & Crafts Festival, Eugenia Westbrook- Fine Art, and 17 Springs are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to your work or personal property, or against personal injury to you or your helpers. I have read and understand the requirements for participation in the ARToberfest Arts & Crafts Festival, October 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2025. Set up for booths is October 3, 2025, after 1 p.m. I agree to abide by the rules, policies, and guidelines of the ARToberfest Arts & Crafts Festival and understand that failure to follow these regulations may result in expulsion from this year's festival, and/or from future festivals, at the sole discretion of the ARToberfest Arts & Crafts Festival.
