Food Truck Application

Thank you for your interest in being a Food truck or booth for our Independence Celebration at Saginaw High School. We encourage you to review the application and reach out if you have any questions. To participate in our city-operated events, all Food Trucks are required to complete a Mobile Food Unit Permit with the City of Saginaw. For more information or assistance with the Mobile Food Unit Permit, please visit www.saginawtx.org/permits or email permits@saginawtx.org, or call 817-230-0453.

Submitting an application to become a food vendor does not guarantee placement in the festival; the event committee will carefully review all applications to ensure a diverse range of menu options and accommodate the limited event space.

To ensure prompt service and minimize wait times, we strongly advise food vendors to develop a modified menu featuring a limited selection of quick-to-prepare items, aiming for wait times of less than 10 minutes, considering the high attendance this event typically attracts.

All vendors, regardless of registration status, must complete a TARRANT COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH TEMPORARY FOOD ESTABLISHMENT PERMIT APPLICATION. If you are registered with Tarrant County Public Health you will not have to pay the $35 application fee, if you are NOT registered you will have to pay the $35 fee to the county. Send the Temporary Food Permit Application to Tarrant County Public Health and not the City of Saginaw.

• I will arrive at no later than 5:00pm.
• I will look at the parking map and make sure I know my assigned spot before arriving to the event. 
• I will be ready to sell/serve by 6:00pm.
• Food Trucks/Booths are expected to provide their own electricity, lights, tent, tables, chairs and decorations.
