Pop-Up Studios in The Village

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 15 The Village is an area within the Festival that provides opportunities for community connections to an estimated 35-40,000+ enthusiastic visitors! The purpose of this area is to promote organizations that support the arts in our community. The Village incorporates Community Partners, Pop-Up Studios, Sponsor Booths, and the historical Jacques Le Moyne Encampment, with fun foods, entertainment, and more! Pop-up Studios are organizations that provide a children’s art activity for both days for up to 500 kids during the weekend. You do not pay to participate so that you can provide staffing and supplies for children’s activities. We provide a 10 x 10 white tent in the park and tables and chairs. The Festival team will decorate the activity area, and you will bring whatever is needed to set up art activities for kids. You are allowed to promote your organization through interactions with the kids and their families. Your participation in the Festival provides the following benefits: -Outreach opportunities to estimated 35-40,000+ visitors to the festival interested in art -Listing in the Festival Program distributed to hotels, sponsors and at the festival -Two Staff Badges to “Behind the Scenes” and one reserved Parking Pass -Digital festival postcard available for pre-show promotion Requirements to participate: 1.) As a participant, we agree to provide a no-charge art-themed/educational activity on both days of the two-day event and understand acceptance is based solely on the merit of our activity. (Merit Criteria: highly creative and allow for individual outcomes) 2.) To promote the Festival, we agree to ‘Like’ LeMoyne Chain of Parks Art Festival on Facebook. We agree to create at least 4 posts on Facebook about participation in the festival and tag us using #ChainofParks. 3.) Our organization agrees to not sell any products or charge for any services during our participation. 4.) Our organization agrees to have at least one representative present at our booth to help supervise the art activity during all Festival hours. Important Dates Setup Times, Schedule & Information Provided: Late March/Early April 2022 Event Set-Up: Friday, April 22, 2022 Event Dates: April 23 & 24, 2022 Event Times: Saturday from 10am – 5pm, with an Evening Groove from 5:30-7:30pm, Sunday, from 10am – 4pm Please note that past selected Pop-Up Studios will generally get priority placement for 2022 for the sake of our historical partnership.

The 22nd Annual Chain of Parks Art Festival is North Florida’s premiere outdoor fine art festival. Located in downtown Tallahassee along Park Avenue, the festival provides an opportunity for art lovers and artists to connect over the weekend. Expect to have a first-class, fun-filled outdoor cultural experience. View amazing, original, and one-of-a-kind works of art from 150 fine artists in a delightful Southern outdoor setting. Live entertainment will be available, along with local food trucks, chalk artists, and libations served by Il Lusso at the festival bar. The Evening Groove is BACK! Featuring Tallahassee Nights Live! group. Get ready to dance in the streets and celebrate having the Chain of Parks Festival back in full swing. The festival has expanded this year to offer new and exciting programs to bring the community unique fine art experiences such as FSU’s Opening Nights Special Presenting Artist event with artist Lana Shuttleworth and an Artist Workshop at LeMoyne Arts, all leading up to the festival weekend with Artists in the Park April 23-24, 2022!

2022 GENERAL RELEASE OF CLAIMS & HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. does NOT provide liability insurance for the protection of persons, vendors, entertainers, merchants, organizations, spectators or others who participate in any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event. In consideration of participating in the Chain of Parks Art Festival, I do hereby release and forever discharge LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC., its members, officers, employees, agents, servants, volunteers and sponsors from any and all actions, negligence, causes of actions, claims and demands, for any damage, loss or injury, which hereafter may be sustained by me or my organization in connection with or relating to any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event. This release extends to, applies to, covers and includes all known, unknown, disclosed, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damages, losses and liabilities, and the consequences thereof, notwithstanding the provisions of any state, federal, local or territorial law or statute to the contrary. Such provisions are hereby expressly waived. It is further understood and agreed that my/my organization’s participation in any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event is not to be construed as an admission of liability or the assumption of any responsibility by LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC., its members, officers, employees, agents, servants, volunteers and/or sponsors for any act or omission by me or any member(s) of my organization. I hereby agree on behalf of my organization, its heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to indemnify LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. and its members, officers, employees, agents, servants, volunteers and sponsors, jointly and severally, and to hold them harmless from and against any and all actions, negligence, claims, demands and liabilities, loss damages and expense of whatever kind or nature, including attorney fees, which may from any organizations participation in the LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event. Furthermore, I agree that the venue for any claim or matter relating to this agreement shall be Leon County, Florida. LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC., The City of Tallahassee and The Tallahassee Police Department reserve the right to remove any misrepresented or inappropriate material or persons from any LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC. event, including but not limited to, The Village. Non-compliance with Chain of Parks Art Festival’s directive, rules and/or regulations will result in the forfeiture of my/my organization’s booth and immediate closure by the Tallahassee Police Department and LEMOYNE ART FOUNDATION, INC.
